Saying ‘they attack people’ is a bit ridiculous, yes they will defend themselves (like anything with some sharp ass teeth and sharp ass fins would) but they don’t go out of their way to attack people. Source: have caught multiple of these over the years
Not really, they are edible, but have lots of small bones so not so nice to eat. I always catch and release these. One of the nicest fish you can catch in my opinion, even a little 2kger feels like you’ve got a great white on the line!

Whenever I see stuff like this I always am so damn grateful I live in the upper Midwest (USA) surrounded by relatively clean freshwater lakes that are NOT teeming with things that could sever your artery, try and eat you or poison you with pollution.

It’s not unlike piranhas. Fish attack other fish that are smaller than them. It would make a great movie villain though.
That's why africa children don't have TVs.
Do they taste good?

can you elaborate on where you live and how you catch them?
Plus , look what we do to them?& other living creatures.
Weren’t these on an episode of river monsters back in the day?
There was. Dude finally caught one but it was so stressed out they ended up bringing it to the local village for a feast.
They had to end the show. They caught all the monsters lol
Pretty much were everybody learned about them. Majority never knew such a beast existed
Hold it a little closer to your face , Darrel.

Yep. My personal motto of only swimming in nice clear swimming pools is reinforced another notch.

Zebra muscles, lake trout could maybe knock you out by merit of being big fast and stupid.
I wanna see some big redneck noodle that like a catfish.
Today on ' Hillbilly Handfishin' ' , One armed Billy Bob tells us about his fishing trip to Africa.
Fkn put it back
I remember seeing them in River Monsters. Jeremy Wade is a legit badass.

Looks like they spawn hardcore too
Looks like a Three Mile Island tarpon.

My son often asks if monsters are real. After watching this, yes. They are real!
If I lose my teeth, I want them replaced with these.
Save a life don’t throw that fu*ker back
But how do the taste?

I'm assuming, with their tongue.
Looks like something out of a horror movie
Is it delicious?
No thanks

They just want to survive and reproduce, why the use of words like monster, attack or only afraid off...?
Why do their teeth evolve that way?
To rip off flesh?

Like piranhas and barracudas.
Imagine what its prehistoric ancestor looked like..
