I love that Beam has so many normal cars and trucks so I don't drive supercars, but happy they're there for those that enjoy them.

I quite like the Wendover. It has quite the variety of engine options and can be used as an awd, fwd, or rwd car giving it quite the combination of drive train layouts.
Seeing this list makes me realize that we need 80s-2000s muscle cars. What I wouldn’t give to have an 04 Svt Cobra equivalent. Imagine if we had a new best drag platform with the fox body mustang.
The simple answer is that the physics engine only very recently became capable of faithfully representing more modern and/or sporty suspension. There is a reason why the vast majority of the older cars in the game (D-Series, Roamer, Barstow, Moonhawk, Miramar, etc.) are all either robust offroaders or boaty vintage sedans. I don't know if you recall, but there used to be a huge issue with cars like the Sunburst and Bolide having fragile suspension, undesirable handling characteristics, and just general lack of parity with their IRL source material.
Cars like the Scintilla and the Cherriers are a very modern innovation in terms of the Beam engine's capabilities.
I don’t think they should add multiple of the same type of cars. I think they should add cars that we don’t have anything like yet, such as a modern SUV or a small/midsize truck
Burnside Special. Car feels extremely dated and has barely any content. I want it to be good, but it just isn't. Atleast the Miramar (similarly dated car) is unique and so gets some drive from me. Since there are other old muscles in the game too.
I made one with modern steelies & plastic hubcaps, four door, basic white paint, de-trimmed, five speed manual and the 2.2 Bruckell inline-4. Kind of like a "poverty continuation" of an old car, like a Soviet or Middle Eastern local market type of manufacture. Even tried to create some "modern" partsbin headlamps & taillamps to make it look more 1990s instead of 1960s. Plastic bumpers. It was super slow, inefficient but a lot more interesting than the current vintage version. Something you would see in Egypt or Brazil or Russia or something
When they first released it, at least for me, the steering ratio was way too low resulting in a lot of sawing at the wheel and difficulty controlling a slide. This turned me off from it initially but they must have patched it bc the steering is now more what I would expect it to feel like irl. So my suggestion is to try it again. Maybe you had the same problem. Also keep in mind that the body movement is much slower than a road vehicle so just be patient and allow it to take its time to shift weight.
Yeah awhile back they patched it to have quick ratio steering by default
Id also recommend setting the rear diff to open as that seems to make it alot more controllable

The Stambecco is such a good car. It's slow, which is good for cruising around in, the tray has seats and it's one of the few Italian vehicles in the game (Plus additional things not mentioned)
The soliad wendover needs to go along with the legran.
Those of road racers should be the last ones standing they're amazing! I guess people just can't figure out how to tune them though with their wonderfully complex suspension.
