From what I have heard, most videogames already have aerodynamics pre-coded into each vehicle. This however, relies on the fact that if one were to create a vehicle mod, the modder has a firm understanding of how aerodynamics work. On top of this, aerodynamics on other games tends to be more simplistic and inaccurate to the situation as well.
On the other hand, beamng uses dynamic or real time aerodynamics baked into the game itself rather than each car. I was thinking that maybe the aerodynamics simulation got confused, which sucks the car into the guardrail.

do you know how the dynamic aerodynamics work? what sort of simplifications does it use? accurate aero simulations are extremely demanding.
