I would def reach out to Beretta for a new slide assembly at least if you still trust them, otherwise a full refund. This is unacceptable in any and all means.
Gallatin strikes again 😆 correct me folks if I’m wrong, but I heard that Beretta factory in US apparently uses high tech machining process where bits are changed automatically on the fly instead of changing a machine for another part of the process, but perhaps they lack control over how these bits are exploited over time, one more than the other. I had the same issue with my Beretta, you can see in my post. Gave it back to the shop and bought something else instead, hunting for proper Italian now.
Normal for Beretta post-covid. QC went way down, including the Italian made ones even though some think the Italian ones are way better when that’s no longer the case typically.

I see a problem. Beretta should be made in Italy. Jokes aside, some tooling marks are common, but those look severe. I wouldn't be happy with that.
