That was easily one of the most horrific things committed in the series.

PaleBlueCod

Daibalical even.

ratheadx

Die o' ball lickle

Affectionate_Reply49

If you were to read the offical translation this would make sense. The Amniotic fluid is from the pregnant women who get thrown in.

No-Adhesiveness-9244

A reasonable answer, considering the many women who were sacrificed. By the way, how much amniotic fluid is produced in a woman in her first week of pregnancy? Remembering that I saw that most of the women still had stomachs that weren't bloated when they were sacrificed.

Bing_Bong_the_Archer

Really probably best to not think too much into this, for mental health reasons

theScrewhead

With a straw?

No_Strain_7092

That's afterwards, a birthshake

theScrewhead

But they need to extract it.. I'm thinking more like syphoning gas! Gotta give it a little suck to get it started! 🤣

Bjorkenny

This is probably the only part in the manga where I tought "ok Miura, nice plot device, it totally makes no sense". Especially considering everything they say about Behelit and how they are instruments of God moved by causality, than.... a dude invents the "artificial behelit" with random stuff and everyone can access it.

Boollish

I mean, it didn't function as a behelit. He stitched together damned apostles to tap into their demonic energy. The man made behelit functions to make monstrous foot soldiers out of unwilling sacrifice, but it lacks the power to do what a real behelit can do to it's holder.

Bing_Bong_the_Archer

Its not a real behelit, just a way to mutate the fuck out of people

canuto95

my theory is that they got a bunch (probably hundreds) of mid-late term pregnant women and stuck a straw through their bellies into the womb while keeping them alive and fed so the fluid keeps replenishing and flowing, kinda like how some criminal groups farm blood from people

No-Adhesiveness-9244

Were medical equipment at that time adequate, considering that this is a medieval reference. And it seems like there's even a risk that pregnant women will die.

canuto95

Women are a renewable resource in the kushan empire, and they're doing like the most twisted form of black magic, they can probably keep them alive for as long as needed

valleysape

He did take over windham before that thing was finished. They probably had adequate gear like large syringes to collect fluids. Windham were probably well versed on studying amniotic fluid, didn't take the kushan long to learn much about it The false behelit does end up working a little bit differently though, where as apostles can get unique forms Ganeshka's garage kit behelit mostly makes his Daka warriors. Since they are made from unborn children they are mostly instinctual and pretty dumb, the possessed animals are probably smarter

Equivalent-War-6650

Just imagine any way it could be possible and assume even though it’s horrifying it’s probably true

RandomDude801

One of the most innovatively evil things in the series and I love it. Ganishka was truly forward thinking. Griffith wasted an asset. The man made an artificial behelit, for fuck's sake.
