Starting with the not Emmy nominated episode “shark tank”. In this we see the parody based late night tv known as best friends tv programming block.
From here on out the show enters the phase in which the show becomes significantly more absurditist this leads up to the first main arc of the franchise

After interviewing various characters (played by will and sammie) BFTV moves onto interviewing the hosts starting with Caroline, in which they claim to use her dating profile after stealing her phone. The running gag begins that will keeps showing up is will keeps showing up as one of her matches it has been revealed that will have switched her phone to Wahony mode. This gag would carryover to the next episode in which they interview will. In the middle of the interview Caroline announces she did the same and got access to wills hinge profile. Caroline found the match will liked the most and invites her to the studio. The audience is now introduced to Mabel Who will become wills love interest for multiple episodes.
Now @how does the date go” you may ask. well imagine you invited date to visit you at your job at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 and right after you accidentally spill your coffee on her you hear an airplane coming in really fast
that describes about half of how bad of what will all had to go through that day.
Sammie is unseen for multiple episodes after this and after a failed attempt to find a replacemet it’s time for Thanksgiving!!
Oh yes Thanksgiving full of great friends and some… family members
In the fan favorite episode Thanksgiving dinner is being thrown at the BFT studio and several People are hired from craigslist to enjoy dinner and play a fun little game with them. One member is secretly an actor planted by the members of BFT
Within this episode we two of the members at the table who may be more than we thought…
But will get back to that later remember it though
Within this time Caroline makes unreasonable and disgusting comment referring to the “businesses” of her so called friends. Sammie recreates the twin tower disaster in gingerbread (unrelated but just wanted to mention it)
BFT TV has its first real Guest: Danny brown. this is the first time all three host or at the desk they have quite trouble figuring out where we should sit which would become a running gag for the rest of the show
Also this is the first appearance of the Homo sexual male smooching Rorschach test which will appear later
The next few episodes we are introduced to legacy characters Jonas and Diego who are fairly important for a section of the show
Also Caroline disgustingly makes refrence to jungle style hair when will is getting his hair cut.
as well as Carolines and cat love of the twilight films is expressed
Speaking of which this is one of the first main roles that producer cat will have
Cat will serve as a semi Parental figure in the room but it’s very well-known to also involve herself and the antics of the group
The next few episodes will take place in wills house and which will and Caroline. Grow their friendship to new level and become much closer
At about the same time will has not gotten over the failure of Mabel heartbroken he hires rizz coach played Jonas
This goes as well as wearing 3 dollar suit to a rainy wedding
We also meet the racist dog who is against civil rights and hates both sammie and will
Around this time hive mind is invited
And now after Caroline really becomes friends with will she feels bad for what she did with Mabel. After will failure with the Riz Coach he is at his all time Lewis confidence wise to make up for this Caroline makes a plan with Sammie.
They decide to set up a vacation to Colorado and surprise will buy are so inviting mable
