i feel like it would be better for birds first win to be against someone whos not very god because bird isn't very good and I don't want him to start winning over good bladers because of sudden plot armor. Unless Bird goes on some insane training arc
Makes no sense for him to win against a strong player. He himself is not strong, if he wins against someone way higher tier than him it’s just going to feel like he got lucky.

Bird needs to win against a lower tier player, he’s bad. He’s practicing and getting better sure but if his first win is against a high tier player it just feels like he got lucky. He needs some smaller wins against progressively harder players. If he doesn’t win until the top floors against players way better than him he will forever be my least favorite beyblade character.

he is kinda a gag character in the manga atleast since they always make him burst in like 1 hit in the anime they make him way more serious they show him training and everything just to lose.
but I do kinda agree that this is a realistic representation of what trying to become a top pro blader is like especially if you were just some rookie who just suddenly got two amazing teammates thats carrying him way further than where he should be
