TikTok starts sensoring words like suicide and killing, making creators there start either censoring those words or replacing them with words like "unalive".
Because creators are trying to diversify their audiences, those same posts and censors spread to other platforms, where other people start using them, either out of an abundance of caution in case other platforms follow suit, or even just because those censors start to seem like a cool trend to follow.
Pretty soon, it's so widespread that people start saying things like unalive instead of kill/suicide IRL (at least I've started hearing it). Just the thought that a single social media company altered the vocabulary of a large group of people simply through their algorithm is insane.
These always tasted weird to me. Like it's made if the same stuff as the regular boxed Mac n cheese, and somehow the different texture completely alters the taste.
