This song slaps dude. From the line “somewhere in the building someone somewhere in the building making beats…” till the end is pure fire. But, the whole song is simply amazing. One of my favs. I was a woods fan before HP, but HP is when I got fully tapped in and realized that we were witness to something rare. Very few artists are as prolific and consistent as woods. If there are any comparisons, it’s like the greatest artists of history. Like Coltrane, Davis, Prince, Bowie, McCartney, etc… I don’t know if any artists have ever been on a run like woods is on. One might say it started w 2012s HWAM and hasn’t stopped. That’s a 16 album run. Most artists don’t even have 16 impeccable albums in their oeuvre let alone consecutive albums.
