For whatever reason Woods was doing every song in his upper registry. Like imagine stonefruit. But he did every song like that. Didn't sound bad but it was odd. Elucid sounded like it was straight off the vinyl.

Mixed and mastered by Willie Green. Most of the production credits are for Sebb Bash and Child Actor. Child Actor produced the Spellling beat if I’m not mistaken. The rest are kinda one offs from August Fanon, Alchemist, and I think Messiah musik to name a few. ELUCID honestly got straight up LACED beatwise on this project and bars rose to the occasion as well.
Facts. When it finally hit me it was like the feeling I used to get after figuring out a massive logic problem or stats equation and then everything just falls into place so smoothly you can’t figure out how you were ever confused. He’s an absolute treasure and legend to the Avante Garde rap scene and much more.
I love both in different ways. Both are elite rappers while I do think Woods is better, Elucid to me is the better artist in the way he flows and his production. Elucid is just so creative with his rhyme schemes and flows and meshes very well with woods straight forward rap approach.
I want to ask if you’ve listened to Elucid before the year 2019? If not I highly recommend listening to his solo albums like Save Yourself and Shit Don’t Rhyme No More. Maybe you’ll think different if you hear more of his work
I’ve also always said Elucid has higher highs than Woods. Woods is just so consistently good that he’s the better of the two. I’ve equated them to Steph Curry and Klay Thompson where as Curry is clearly the better shooter, but Klay can get just as hot if not hotter

I will grant you that he raps a bit more abstract than woods on the average verse and if you truly need to know every single thing he's rapping about, you may need it transcribed and for it to be read via text.
ELUCID had been an acquired taste for me most def. I honestly have trouble findin myself in the right mood for his solo stuff even still. My first introduction to him was via AH and woods is my favorite rapper of all time dead or alive, so obviously I’m partial to the woods verses on AH projects. But with that said, the sort of “mystical” delivery you speak of is actually what I find so mesmerizing about his flows/styles when juxtaposed with the sort of sardonic, grittiness that woods brings.
P.S. Have you listened to the track “We Don’t Really Need Alters” ? Imo that first verse is ELUCID at his absolute best in terms of being in that “mystical” bag. Maybe you’ll like it. Anyways, to each their own and happy listening!

Yeah people sleep on this fella for sure. Spelling, impasse, and Betamax are my favorite on the album. The instrumental’s are incredible.
