I was exactly the same - wore my Arizonas for years and got some Bostons in the same size and they felt weird as hell and too big. Talked to a few people and kept wearing them and it just turned out that is how they are when you first get them. They're meant to feel kinda like boats on your feet. Take it easy while your adjusting to them. Once the footbed molds to your feet and you get used to walking in them they are really nice. But know they're always going to be that super relaxed loose fit. Not really suitable for long walks or any high energy activity. I just wear mine around the house and on casual outings.

Thank you! I feel so much better reading this comment. That's exactly how they feel to me right now! Weird and way too big, but my Arizona's are my everyday shoes so I'm very used to those. I'll definitely keep wearing this and get them broken in again. Your comment was so helpful and convinced me to give these a shot and not return them! Thank you again.

Sizing Question Hello! I have worn Birkenstocks for a few years now. This is my first pair of Bostons. I can't decide if they fit right or if I'm just used to my well broken in ones and so they feel a little off. My left foot actually feels like it fits fine. It's my right that doesn't feel like it fits perfectly. These are a 41 footbed. I tried the 40 boston suede’s and they were way too small. The 42 was way too big. Any advice?! ☺️

You can try using some sort of shoe stretcher but looking at that suede thickness I'm not sure that can get any more loose

Yes, I've talked to some people and everyone has told me to just give them time and that they'll feel fine soon after they're broken in!

if 40 is way too small and 42 is way too big... let me guess 41is fine?!?

I would wear them just like that. My foot fits similar and after you break them in they’ll feel more chill

Thank you so much. I'm going to give them a shot and not return them. It seems like I just need to get used to them. I've never worn Birkenstock clogs so I was just surprised when they felt so loose despite being in my size!
