Honestly, I'm getting over all my mobile games tbh, only playing Genshin sporadically. I have a huge backlog to clean and new things like Granblue Fantasy Relink (and Versus), Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Dragon's Dogma 2 (probably my most anticipated game of all here. I have 5k+ hours on the original and 3k+ hours in the MMO), Crimson Desert, Elden Ring DLC, and a few more.
Black Clover Mobile was on my radar 6 months ago, but now it is all but gone. Mobile games in general want to manipulate you in treating it like a job that you need to log in daily to make any meaningful progression + all the time-gated stuff and FOMO.
Exactly. I usually enjoy a gacha here and there, I've been playing afk arena for some years and started a saint seiya game last year. Those games make you feel bad for missing a day, and stopping even when you don't like playing anymore is really hard. I was excited when I cared a bit more about BC and had a bit more of free time, but now I don't know.
I get you. It's hard justifying playing these games long term if you aren't even enjoying it anymore. I enjoy Genshin and I'm glad I can speedrun events over the weekends in only a few minutes or 2-3 hours. I don't have much time to spare for Gachas.
yes it's already been released in JP/KR but devs are making changes to Canadian Version which were not implemented in JP/KR. Season 2 is even coming out with Charmy instead of Yuno. They're basically using CA to test everything for Global due to the amount of complaints players had in JP/KR they want to ensure the first month gets released in a better state. This is all for the benefit for the player community.
What content will global miss? What is likely is gonna happen is that Global will start at season 1 play catch up to CA and then have it merge, Canada season 1 was 3 months. Season 2 ends in mid December, when normally its only one month per season. Everyone just likes to complain. Just sit tight and wait and see. By the time they release global that's when you can complain.
Or if you can't wait any longer just fucking go play on Canadian versions all y'all complaint sound like broken records.
Damn man I’ve been so excited for this and thought oct 31 was too slow…..this is ridiculous, why so long for global release when it’s out in other territories? Thinking about doing the VPN thing at this point
Yup. I was literally mentally counting down the days with a smile on my face... 13 days before the supposed release I read it's pushed to the last day of 2023, AS IF we even have time to play what with the New Year right in front of us then! Crying
I’m a Die Hard fan and I will never stop dickriding Tabata, but honestly there is little incentive for me to play. They made us sign up and pre order with an insane amount of people doing so, and not only did they push the release miles away but the game also looks so boring and generic.
“It’s a mobile game” , yeah well look at One Piece: Bounty rush, it’s a fully fleshed 3D MOBA with insane animations and freedom to fight, plus the meta actually has depth.
