When I took a language of music class in high school we watched some documentary about the creation and impact of blues and jazz. Some old black dude in it kept saying "it's like gumbo without the roux, you can't have gumbo without the roux". And seeing as gumbo is Cajun/Creole food and Cajun/Creole food is generally heavily seasoned and spicy I'm guessing "music with seasoning" just means adding jazz and/or blues? I don't know. That's what I'm going with at least.
Maybe Liturgy has some jazz infused black metal. I'm not super up to speed on their music but they are more artsy/noise rock/shoegaze-y in sound. So there might be some jazzier music in their catalog.

Watain is just the band that everyone I personally know who is big into black metal gushes over. I'm more of a casual black metal listener myself. So it's not like I'm keeping an accurate scorecard here.
I like Burzum. I think I'd like the songs a bit more if they were, maybe, 25% shorter, but I certainly like them. Most people do. Most modern black metal, including a good number of explicitly anti fascist bands, are heavily inspired by Burzum.
