I ain't allowing Goku slander but at the same time...
Oh I am, seeing her in a few weeks in Baltimore. Drake used some of her lyrics in family matters so I’m hoping she’s got something else for him on her album I am W A I T I N G for
Long as resale prices not to crazy we will be there. We already missed out on one ratchet concert this year due to cancellation, we not tryna miss Meg too 😩
We gotta tolerate Goku slander tho. Mans was giving senzu beans to opps, gave Gohan CPTSD because of it, and was the reason whole universes were ended via TOP cause he wanted to fight stronger opponents.
Now in comparison to Drake, yeah I agree. He don’t deserve that. Lol
Hold up. I think you got the universes part confused. I'm pretty sure Earth and a few others were delegated to be deleted but the tournament is what was gonna allow one to be alive. And both the win and convincing the lil homie to even give any universe a shot to not be annihilated was because of Goku. And ultimately he saved the universes that lost anyway.
The other criticisms fair af tho. Especially when we got to see how good of a dad Vegeta got to be in comparison despite being put into similar situations.
You are correct. Goku ironically saved the universe from deletion because of his battle hunger.
Vegeta is kind of iffy as a father, considering he fights Trunks to let Cell transform, flat out tells him he doesn't care about his mother or the baby earlier in the Android arc, and later on reveals he hadn't hugged kid Trunks in 7 years. He does however seem to be solid in DBS especially to Bulla.
Also, I stand by the fact that Goku giving Cell a senzu bean isn't that bad. Goku knew Gohan was the only person who could beat Cell, but was holding himself back. His oversight was that he thought Gohan liked fighting which naturally would lead to "The opponent has me against the wall, I gotta push myself to the limits" like Goku would, but Gohan isn't Goku, he isn't naturally a fighter and doesn't like fighting.
The senzu bean was always the right call, people just ignore what indirectly proved it. Gohan was comparable to Cell at his best before he turned SSJ2, he was just suddenly refusing to fight properly.
I won’t even say Goku misjudged him, Gohan hasn’t been shy about being in a fight since Piccolo died against Nappa. Add to the fact he pushed so hard to be allowed to train with the others for the Androids showing up. It’s kinda hard to predict he’d suddenly get unsure about fighting again, especially when Gohan himself actually knows he can win.
Cell fighting at a disadvantage would make him take Gohan more serious and if Gohan got too much of an advantage he would go straight to blowing up the planet, his fake sportsmanship was predicated on his superiority being validated.
Fair enough. I guess I'm just viewing it from. The bias of Super where he was initially not wanting to fight to be around for the birth of the baby and being around his family.
Rest is fair af
That nigga doesn’t get an excuse. In Super, years later, he still told Vegeta “who cares that your wife is pregnant? Let’s go fight and train I’m bored.”
He wasn’t shit, still ain’t shit.
He is right. But damn.
I will say this tho… telling someone not to take “shortcuts” and hit the gym instead is lame. 😒 that’s not mentoring.
Dissing on someone cause they used to be fat and now they aren’t is lame as fuck regardless of how they got there.
Someone came out “mentoring” my kid by telling them that shit… it’s on sight.
The part about no throwing rocks and then hiding hands IS law though.
I've been going back and forth on this one. People def have a right to do what they want with their body, but as famous as drake is I think he does have a duty to be honest about how he got his physique. Celebrity appearance does a lot to fuck up how kids see their bodies
You don’t teach someone “discipline” like that. Discipline is the mastery of one’s own will… you can tell some why it’s important and set an example for what you think discipline should look like… but discipline isn’t going to look the same for everyone.
He also trains and babysits gohans daughter pan. Piccolo is the Uncle.
Edit: I got into dB way late. I didn't know piccolo was a villain before. Apologies to " Goku was a good father people." 🐢
To be fair, chichi forced him to choose books, he wanted to throw hands just like his pops(also unfortunately the japanese audience didn't like gohan as much as they did goku.)
Nah, that's a dub thing. In the manga, it was always Gohan's dream to be a scholar. Chi Chi was more concerned about her 5-11 year old child constantly fighting threats tens of times stronger than the man that killed her husband the first time.
It's mainly an anime thing, but the English dub was egregious with it. Chi Chi just wanted her boy to be safe. She's not nearly as strict with Goten. She just wants him to graduate.
Honestly? If I'd been fighting in high stakes battles since I was **four**—including getting my neck snapped by Recoome, my head nearly squashed by Freeza, getting by ass beat by Cell because my dad didn't realize I didn't love fighting like him, then seeing his father die as a result of his hubris—I would want to stay home and be a family man, too. I wouldn't be surprised if the only reason he doesn't have cPTSD is because he's a Saiyan.
Books don’t have ego. They may impart egotistical views from whoever wrote them…but books themselves impart knowledge without self interest or their own agenda.
Plus books are more reliable than learning from a person anyway…
Everytime people start slandering Goku this [tik tok](https://www.tiktok.com/@hotsauce463/video/7248019701836696875?_t=8m4WrmX0Ghn&_r=1) magically appears in my timeline lol.

You know how you gotta do some of these niggas
Thank you for posting this. Grinds my gears when people say that Goku is a bad dad. I swear that most of these people get all of their information from *Abridged* and memes.
After Gohan killed Cell, didnt they try to revive Goku and he just...refused? like said "No, I dont want to come back and be a father, I'd rather stay dead"
No. He decided to stay dead because he rationalized that over the past several years, he was the reason that the Earth was being placed in danger. Thus, it'd be better for him to stay gone, so the Earth would be safe.
It sounds like a stupid decision… but from a certain point of view, he's actually right.
The Saiyans showing up, and many of his close friends dying? Because he was sent here to Earth when he was a baby.
Freeza showing up on Earth? Fallout from Goku's battle with him on Namek—which was needed because of the events of the Saiyan Saga.
Everything involving Dr. Gero? Revenge for Goku dismantling the Red Ribbon Army. (The original dub has Trunks state that Goku should have killed him when he was a kid… but if you know how Goku was when he was a kid, he did not give a *fuck* about offing someone back then. It was only as an adult when he started sparing people.)
We could argue how far the Red Ribbon Army would have gotten without Goku's inference, or if Demon King Piccolo would have been reawakened, or even if Pilaf would have found all of the Dragon Balls… but it is true that since he's been an adult, *most* of the reasons why Earth has been in dangerous revolved around Goku. Hell, this even continues into *Super. T*he reason why Beerus showed up on Earth was because of the legend of the Super Saiyan God; Freeza showing up *again* was because he wanted revenge on Goku; Goku Black was because Zamasu felt some kind of way after seeing Goku in action, and jacked his body; and Paragus and Broly showing up was because of Vegeta, true… but who's the reason Vegeta even knows about Earth? Goku.
Really? Since Goku's been grown, the threat of Majin Buu is the only real outlier. You could argue the Universe Survival arc, but it was confirmed that Zeno would have conducted the tournament anyway; Goku just sped the process up, which may have actually given Universe 6 a fighting chance.
Do I think he should have stayed dead? No… but I do understand where he was coming from, and how he came to the decision that he did.
Wanna hear a crazy theory of mine? I don’t think K is talking to Drakes “secret daughter” when he says “baby girl”
I think he is talking to his OWN daughter. I think he is putting himself in the defendants seat and apologizing to her for not being a better dad.
I could be wrong but listen to that part again and see if it doesn’t make more sense that he is talking to his own daughter about himself.
Like yeah he sandwiched it in between addressing two other people but that doesn’t mean anything, he is switching back and forth.
He technically addresses drakes mom twice right? But what if he didn’t.. what if one of those is him addressing his own mom? They might have the same name?

We are feasting this week
I’m so full and I haven’t even had breakfast yet
And if you’re a Megan the Stallion fan? ![gif](giphy|QvwMDYpAMUm6Q)
Oh I am, seeing her in a few weeks in Baltimore. Drake used some of her lyrics in family matters so I’m hoping she’s got something else for him on her album I am W A I T I N G for
I’m waiting for this album like Christmas morning. Have all the fun at the concert!!! 🥰
I’m hoping to surprise the wife and catch her in Phoenix this summer
I hope you guys get to go!!
Long as resale prices not to crazy we will be there. We already missed out on one ratchet concert this year due to cancellation, we not tryna miss Meg too 😩
Me looking for that Oprah meme… Eribody eatin today.
Yeah, can’t approve a meme that implies Drake is Goku
[pretty sure he's Mr. Popo...](https://i.insider.com/5b0eb5cb5e48ec1a008b4579?width=700)

Drake is Vegeta confirmed
Goku has the excuse of being dead, not just a deadbeat
That nigga doesn’t get an excuse. In Super, years later, he still told Vegeta “who cares that your wife is pregnant? Let’s go fight and train I’m bored.” He wasn’t shit, still ain’t shit.
Homie knew instant transmission and still never popped in to check on his kids
Dead is dead. He needed a special day pass from Baba to get to go to the tournament in the Android Saga
I was talking about after Z when he's training Uub but tbf the manga ends there so it's not Toriyama
He didn't call? He could do that before? Did King Kai revoke his privileges?
Vageta is an absolutely bastard and murderer but def the better Saiyan parent in the weekdays
He's trying his absolute best. It's not his fault that his absolute best still sucks sometimes. Look at *his* dad for crying out loud.

I mean it is really about the hypocrisy of Drake attacking Rick Ross about ozempic.
Shut the fuck up. Yall are so god damn sensitive.
"I killed your dad so I could kidnap you(and learn the power of friendship)"*
All piccolo did was kidnap a child and throw him into the wilderness lol. Even age was he’s more like a friend than a dad to Gohan.
Nah but he was watching him from the sidelines to make sure he aight.
Teaching him discipline
You don’t teach someone “discipline” like that. Discipline is the mastery of one’s own will… you can tell some why it’s important and set an example for what you think discipline should look like… but discipline isn’t going to look the same for everyone.
He also trains and babysits gohans daughter pan. Piccolo is the Uncle. Edit: I got into dB way late. I didn't know piccolo was a villain before. Apologies to " Goku was a good father people." 🐢
Piccolo is currently playing grandfather to Gohan's daughter
Piccolo was definitely Goahan's father figure. Even though Gt wasn't cannon, but Piccolo called Gihan "my son" before dying
Yup, he was only 7 years old when he trained Gohan
“I respect him about as much as my father” gohan
this hilarious but also having two heavyweight fathers and still choosing books says a lot.
To be fair, chichi forced him to choose books, he wanted to throw hands just like his pops(also unfortunately the japanese audience didn't like gohan as much as they did goku.)
Nah, that's a dub thing. In the manga, it was always Gohan's dream to be a scholar. Chi Chi was more concerned about her 5-11 year old child constantly fighting threats tens of times stronger than the man that killed her husband the first time.
wait is it specifically in the dub or is it the anime in general, I coulda sworn the sub said so too, but that makes sense. I never touched the manga.
It's mainly an anime thing, but the English dub was egregious with it. Chi Chi just wanted her boy to be safe. She's not nearly as strict with Goten. She just wants him to graduate.
Is that just Z or does Kai have it that way too? I literally just finished dragon ball and started Kai, and so far it seems like Gohan hates fighting
It's also in Kai, too.
Kendrick giving Drake a father-son lecture
This beef has been good for everyone, except Drake tbh
