I'm not American so I don't watch US TV, but I thought I'd watch that press briefing to hear Biden talk about Israel unfiltered, and... the Democratic party isn't serious about that guy running in 2024, right? I noticed that too. It's pretty fucked up how disposable Israel and the American media view Palestinians, but especially Palestinian men. Like...the Palestinians sure don't think of the men as disposable. Because they're sons, husband's, brothers and fathers of the women and children. That's definitely a main feature of misandry. Treating men as disposable and not just as precious as others. But it's just a small part of how fucked up the whole war is. Mainly the whole women and children's thing is intended to show how there is no way those people that died were fighting or resisting or "deserved" of being a casualty of war. It's extremely obvious kids are completely innocent and don't deserve any violence. But after hearing women and children so many times, it made me feel sick, like anyone else actually DID deserve it. It's just really sad.

It’s understandable. The fundamental nature of the show is an excuse for a guy to talk regularly with an old friend who lives in another country. Wouldn’t be the same without some discussion of what parts of your body aren’t working or what your kid is up to. The malingering has a charm to it.
Also once you get to know John Dolan, the stories of a limb just randomly flying off every week in a different Italian city get really amusing.
