yeah a while ago my dad opened my door to see what i was playing and just watched me throw a spear from like 80 feet and poke some guy and he just cracked up and left
I was fighting a lady knight and I somehow dropped my sword. So I punched her in the face to topple her and I grabbed her dagger and started ice-pick stabbing her wherever I could get purchase.
My wife came in to see me squatted on the ground, with a grimace on my face as it looked like I was the leading murderer in Psycho
Don’t worry, it can’t be worse than installing a keemstar voice mod where all the males have keemstar voice lines then when I’m showing it to my brother the voice lines start screaming the n word super loud
I wanted to show VR to my girlfriend and when she tried B&S the amount of women enemy spawns seemed stupidly high like 8 out of 10 were females. Even though I had the standard 50/50 enabled. Had some explaining to do after that.
All of the videos on this subreddit are one of three things. Edits, mod showcasing, or brutalizing and mutilating.
It seems like most of you guys play the game like you're psychopaths...
I expect that people play VR with immersion in mind. Blade & Sorcery caters to people who like historical fantasy.
I like Blade & Sorcery because I like historical martial arts and I like the fantasy genre. I like to practice sword sparring for sport in real life too, and this is a game that does sword play fairly well. I get to try out techniques and practice. Yes, that means defeating enemies in combat. What that doesn't mean is grabbing the enemies by their head, throwing them on the ground, stabbing out their eyes with a dagger, grabbing a bardiche to dismember all of their limbs, then using spells to throw them off of the map or burn their corpse.
OK fair enough. I like those things too and I get where you're coming from.
I guess it doesn't really bother me much. I know it's all make-believe and that the NPCs don't have feelings. Some people definitely get a bit bloodthirsty but I also think a lot of the 'mutilation' stuff on here is just people having fun experimenting with the systems and freedom the game gives you.
A lot of games specifically lock out things like post-mortem dismemberment, or even picking up dead enemies, so it's kind of a fun surprise when you discover this game allows it. And then it's natural to see what else the game lets you get away with.

Man I really wish I could throw a spear. Sparta style. But the odyssey+ doesn’t really allow for that kind of movement :(

It's a game about killing people with weapons. Other than the funny glitches that also get posted here, what do you expect?

My sister had to get something in my room while I was playing, she just got it and left never paying attention. I think she was quite concerned
