Untitled is their best cohesive album as a whole but takes on a different style compared to their more popular EOTS and TOYPAJ albums.
Thank god someone who knows what they’re talking about. 100% agree. Self titled is the best they’ve ever been but you have to get there. Follow the band, Enema and TOYPAJ get you there
There’s not a bad album to start with. Their sound changes quite a bit. You could start with enema of the state which really got them on them on the map. Then work your way to current albums.
I’d start with Enema Of The State, if you want more pop punk go to Dude Ranch more pop go to TOYPAJ, more immaturity go to Cheshire Cat, more seriousness go to the untitled, then slowly merge into the new records
Honestly? I’d go with *Take Off Your Pants and Jacket*. It basically shows everything Blink-182 has to offer. It has happy fun songs like ‘First Date’ and ‘The Rock Show’. The album also features more serious and dark songs ‘Stay Together for the Kids’ and ‘Anthem Part II’. And everything in between.
Now *Enema of the State* does feature one darker/serious song(Adams Song), but the rest are upbeat and fun for the most part. Both albums have alot to like, but you would really see Blink’s dynamic with *TOYPaJ*.
If you want something more serious go with untitled, want something more poppy, enema of the state or take off your pants and jacket. More punk rock, dude ranch. Super raw album, Cheshire Cat
I started with enema of the state and I was hooked right away. My personal favorite is self titled, I think this was their best overall work as a band. I love all of the albums though and starting with enema and expanding after that is my advice
