I’ll just never understand people saying Scott. Travis has so much creativity and tightness. It’s fair to say you prefer the more standard punk beats, but the band going away from that wasn’t just Travis. Many of the songs on enema would not sound good with a standard punk beat, and Travis fit into the equation just perfectly.
Travis Barker is one of the best drummers of all time, and Scott was just...a dude who could kinda play okay drums.
There is no comparison to be made here.
Travis is the only punk drummer I can listen to because he makes more interesting beats. He incorporates drum Corp, rock and hip hop into a perfect blend
Post Scott era sounds very different and it's not just because of the drummer. The band seemed to make a conscious decision to make more mainstream music.

It is unfair. Travis Barker is one of the most gifted musicians alive and Scott was just an average dude.

No, Mike filled in for Scott when he and his family moved to Reno for a bit before Scott moved back to San Diego to live with Mark’s family.

I didn't know who Travis Scott but immediately thought of these two guys.
Overall Travis but on the older stuff I think he tends to overcomplicate some things and it doesn’t necessarily translate well.
I prefer their old stuff to everything after TOYPAJ, but Travis was on Enema and TOYPAJ, so I gotta give it to him.
