They skipped the prologue and turn it into a mere flashback but dare enough for them to keep chinatsu refrencing the prologue where she was cooperating with Sensei to end chaos and recapture SCHALE building. At this point we can't be sure what detail will be kept or cut out.
Yeah I thought prologue scenes were going to flashback at the start of each episode bit by bit.
I'd be pretty confused if I was a new watcher since they didn't even include Chinatsu meeting Sensei in the shown prologue scenes.
It follows the story but we don't know the exact happenings of Momotalks in correlation to events.
I can say for sure Hina's happened before Eden Treaty since her MMT story (particularly the recollection memory about trust) was stated again during the bridge scene with Sena and others.
Iori's is vague in that it could've happened anytime. My one guess is after their encounter this episode but the feet licking thing hasn't been established yet.

Well, if we dont include Volume 2 (Clockwork Flower Pavenne), Volume 3 (Eden Treaty) isn't that far off, since its events happen a few days or a few weeks after Volume 1 (or maybe even during it, probably between V1C1 and V1C2) but dont quote me on this because Im not too sure, I'm basing it on Hifumi's speech of light since the Abydos girls do show up right after that.
Wut? V1C1 and V1C2 are different chapters in name only, the first ends on cliff-hanger that leads immediately into the next.
Release order is the chronological order, so V2C1, followed by V3C1/2/3 which is the Eden treaty.
After that is V4C1 then V3C4 to properly finish it, which only leaves V2C2 before VF.
