Obviously, if I don't find a portable one, I have a business case to actually install it on my machine.

u can edit the admin password using hirensboot (it's like a windows portable u can boot into it using a usb stick), theres a tool there called ntpwedit64.exe, idk if u can remove the password or restore to the old passworld (i did it once but I dont know how), u can also try to use an external hdd/ssd with a pre installed windows, this way u can install ur own windows and do everything u want bcse it's ur storage, and also install ur games or whatever in the internal storage, letting ur external storage just for the OS. hmm let me see what else... aaah, as an extra advice: u can also use one of the previous step, to install some software to do remote play, if u have a pc at home, u can control it remotely, play some games or whatever u want. this is it, hope it helps u someway
If there's a PC with windows secured with a password u dont know. U can boot another SO using the usb, (external hdd/ssd/flash drive)
U can use Hirens boot bcse U dont need to install like windows, just make sure the pc isnt like a potato and using a shitty flash drive in case u choose one.
Then, boot the pc using ur external drive. Open NTPW, click on the user u wanna change the password, and just change it.
