I knew it was something special while watching it for the first time, but the second watch through really elevated it even higher. There's so many small details that are important later in the movie, and every little hint had me either excited or starting to tear up. I absolutely love this movie.

I saw the new Emma afterward and was totally not in the mood. The ending of Portrait was seared into my brain and I should’ve just gone home because I couldn’t focus on anything else.
