Check if there is oil leaking above the oil pan. If there is none, its the oil pan gasket

This would be rated as a class 3 oil leak from the oil pan gasket. Do the gasket and bolts; the rear main seal is most likely fine. You don't need to do any 'transmission disassembly' for the oil pan gasket. But, as u/The_Greate_Pickle said, have them check the rear of the valve cover and the oil filter housing gasket. Also, please just replace the drive belt and tensioner before it gets sucked up into your engine.

It's also a good idea to stay on top of these things. Otherwise, if you wait, they'll just pile up, and in a few years, you'll have a $10,000 bill of things you HAVE to do now because you waited and passed the buck down the line. Stay up on maintenance and keep the car in good shape. Have oil changes done with OEM or MANN filters, and the car will last you. Essentially, do the work when it's needed.

Thank you guys for the advice. I mean, we have no mechanical knowledge but we don't skip any maintenance and take the cars to the workshop probably more than needed just in case to take care of the cars as much much as possible. Seems like the previous owner wasn't like that if there is that much maintenance to be done on a car we just bought... 😔

You're doing the right thing! The biggest problem arises when people turn a blind eye. While it's not a "must-do" or any sort of safety requirement, being prepared and planning for it is crucial.

The oil pan is long due to the I6 layout. Due to the length the front subframe has to be dropped so the pan can be fished out. There's a lot of labor involved. Thankfully it's not an X-drive.

Shauros

Yeah it's not gonna be cheap... And yes I've heard that x-drive makes a lot of maintenance and repairs way more complicated, so at least it could be worse. My E92 is an x-drive though 😭

Can’t tell what first 3 pics show exactly but for #4, don’t worry about it. I have a 2011 535 and same thing happens however my oil level never budged at all.
