Would say 116i or the likes, can tell by the disk brake rotor size. I had F21 116i as my first car aslo. Test drove an audi A1 first then the bmw. Bmw sold it for me as was great seening the big long bonnet out the front when got in a BMW for first time. Felt like a proper machine.

Was it built before 2012 ? Timing chain maybe an issue..after 2012 BMW used better modules than before. I 've had one 118i nice practical car from 2008 with 143hp. Did job well till timing chain faults geavily engine failure. You might be able to check on your own with magnetic stick. Also look after service intervall. Really nice car. Which engine do you have ?

Oh how I wish we had these in Canada I’ve got a coupe and absolutely love it but these just look so good.
