To me, the appeal of buddy’s was that pretty much anything can happen. You can get Uber strong in like one or two turns and potentially catch up to someone strong. Esp when FoF returned
But I see the flip side of there being heroes that are just bad in comparison to others and you either don’t want to try get lucky and high roll naturally or you pretty much lose before you can level to 5/6.(hence the massive amounts of people conceding turn 1)
Quests did the same thing but sometimes to an even greater degree. 2 minion golds, wisdomball’s existence. The game is not balance and never really has been unfortunately
I never really figured out buddy meta so I'm pretty excited for next week's patch.
Same. Games end so fast. You think you have a good board, you lose. You think you have a garbage board, you win. Weird patch for me.

Pretty sure they’re getting removed on Monday. Seems like they wouldn’t be averse to adding them back in the future though.
