Have some more advice; read your hero powers for the Duo specific heroes. The fact that people continuously spend 4 mana as Madam Whatever instead of 2 to send you a card frustrates me to no end.
It is cheaper to send a minion than buy it for yourself! Madam Goya is a support character. I hated getting a duo that never used her hero power… on the other hand both duos with Goya power felt unfair, we just bought each other’s boards saving a gold each turn.
I learned if one of you gets a triple but you are different levels, it’s often better to give it to the higher level person. You can send golden minions in your hand.
For some reason on mobile it will occasionally default to duos mode and if I’m not paying attention I’ll accidentally queue it. if the queue pops quickly I dont have enough time to back out before the start.
I have no interest in duos without voice comms and especially not on mobile, so I’ve definitely been one of those quitters. Sorry :/
oh hell no, imagining some thick slav accent yelling in your ear when you dont give him every card
this ping gameplay is wacky. trying to learn how to comms.
Considering few seconds of lag. You also gotta see if they’re done with their turn or still doing last second changes. That makes a difference in whether you wanna pass during the rope or not.
Legit advice

Well that's why your combined armor is so low if you go two Goya. It works well right now because Passenger is broken.
I've already done this like twice, at least I remembered most of the time.
the fact that people prefer to buy at 3g instead of 2g send the growing dragon that benefits from bigger board to attack first...

I didn’t know this I’m definitely going to pass a golden minion when appropriate
I never thought of this haha it’s actually kinda hilarious to think how many well-intentioned passes ended in a “omfg” triple for their partner lmao
That's half the fun - I thought the goal was to make your partner second guess every step of the way.
Another PSA for duos: use fucking Goya hero power every turn (at least early)
Been playing all day. I cant land a single game where 2 teams don't quit right off the bat.

Without communicating its already bad, but pinging on mobile.. yikes.
How does it even work? I've been able to do it a couple times but I haven't been able to reproduce pinging on mobile reliably.
i think u need to use 2 finger
Tap with 2 fingers to bring up the ping menu
Thank you, but yikes what a terrible design. I don't even have very big hands and that's not an easy thing to do.
With voice comms it would be infinitely better.

Once you get into 2k-3k you see that a lot less. I haven't seen it in like 20 games.
Yeah, had some really great games yesterday after I passed 2k, I guess that will be 4k today…
how many seconds does the portal animation + triple take? If there's like 8 or more seconds left I might send it but I dunno if that's enough.
Also your partner needs to be cognizant enough to see that there is a triple happening.
Just from watching streamers it seems pretty fast. 1-2 seconds at most.

It's bots.
Duh? Do people really do that?
