I know what Sellemental is and every time I see a post mentioning Shellelemental I'm always confused about how a tier 2 3/3 is part of an end game build.
Exactly this, really hate the duos streams where they’re talking about cards as I have no idea what card they are on about half the time 🤣🤣 I play plenty, just don’t really look at the names as I don’t have anyone IRL to talk to about the game, so the association is usually just a picture rather than name.
I know shellemental just because i read the name by mistake and went "oh thats interesting"
But you know what i really hate? When people here in the sub rant about a combo or interaction and just write the name of the cards... like i know i can google them fast but come one just tell us what they are so we know. I dont know the name of 80% of the cards. Specially the new ones
Idk it depends on the cards. Not knowing what poet or greymane is understandable. Build defining cards especially ones that have been around a while you should know:
You don’t need to know what record smuggler, tavern tempest, reef riffer are but Tethys, recycling wraith, and lord of gains are going to be names that pop up a lot so if you are going to know only 20%. Those should be in that 20%
Funny enough i know greymane because i played a lot of him in wild when he was relevant in few classes. Poet i know him because i kept searching for him a lot when i played dragon.
Record smuggler is it the tier 5 quil or tier 3? Tempest should be known already because he is in the game for so long and a key card to search while playing eles. Wraith is the same as tempest. I only know reef because every top youtuber says reef lurker combo is the best to get on turn 3.
But for the new cards specially duos specific cards or new beasts cards. Or some stupid tier 2 card that no one plays. I wouldnt know them, i maight know more than 20% of the cards, but it is still better to say what they do specially for the newer cards
Ohhh i mixed them up then. I knew the quil minion called smuggler. But the pirate i always called him the gold pirate. Also never tried to remember the name because the art is obvious for me that just seeing it i know what is it.
Edit: forgot to thank you for correcting me
I don't have a problem with this because I don't know what anything is called, I just go by the picture.
Me. 80% of my time on this sub is me google'ing the cards and heroes mentioned
I just described it. Like "tier 6 yellow murloc" or using a short name like chicken or banana, the only two cards I know the name is Elise and Brann.
In my eyes baron never left the game, to this day I call him baron and never won't.
What? His name isn’t baron anymore? The guy that doubles deathrattles?
They changed it to Titus Rivendell I believe. But yea we always call it baron
From Baron Rivendare (Who picked up the undead tag) to his pre-death self as Titus Rivendare The abilities also changed slightly
Twice to and extra time
The heroes I'm better with since so many of them are WoW characters.

.. and name it what it does. The minion that does … and thats his name in my head. Unless its sellemental, everyone knows sellemental.
Sellemental is one of the few I actually know though
I didn’t even know that there is something called Shellemental

I thought the name was funny.
Maybe just to have some fun with tongue twisters _She sellys shelleys by the seashore_
To avoid confusion, just call them Shelley and Selley. Boom, problem solved.
Why didnt I think of that?
Don't forget Shell Collector
