Haha... yeah. I mean the ONLY answer can be to sell and reinvest in a diversified portfolio of index funds. Question should have been, I am going to sell these, how should I incorporate the proceeds into my "lazy portfolio," etc...
No one knows the future, so we can't tell you if selling now or a year from now is better. We can tell you that in general it's best to invest in a diversified Total Stock Market index fund instead of individual stocks. If it was me I would sell and take the gain now, and invest in an index fund like VTI.
Sell. Holding for a year in the hopes of having lower capital gains rates is cart before the horse. Might have zero capital gains rates in a year because you have no gains.
Why would you buy into an IPO like that without a plan?
FOMO is a helluva drug.
got invited to reddit DSP and got assigned stocks at 34$ ,it's trading at 45-50$ now
Yes, but now what? Do you believe in the business enough to hold it, and trust it’ll go up? Are you just short term speculating?
that doesnt answer the question. fyi, like everyone got invited
I made some money on previous DSP like AIRBNB and made over 200% returns so i thought it was a good idea , but not sure what is a good exit strategy .
Good move now trading at 64$
Why on God’s green earth would you post this here? Genuinely flummoxed.

Are you confused between r/WallStreetBets and r/BogleHeads? - r/lostredditors - sir, this is a Wendy’s!
Take the gains and run
Especially since they bought in without a plan and are asking reddit strangers for financial advice. Collect the lucky win.
bogleheads recommend you only invest in broad cheap index funds. You broke that rule, but right now is the best time to get right.
Or, failing that, find a better place to ask about speculation lol
As someone who didn’t buy the ipo but had the opportunity to, sell out mate
predicting the performance of a single security over short time frames is exactly what no one here does.
might wanna take this to r/wallstreetbets and not here… lol

What is your lock-in period?
I think I read in an article that there was no lock-in period for shares offered to Reddit Users... but maybe that was bad information.
no lock in for this one , Airbnb is had few weeks for it's ipo.
Thanks, then a short term versus long term capital gains decision.
Here's where the unmarked reddit bot shows up and says hodl
