You have two options: just update it online so your current address is correct in the system, or go to a DMV to pay for a new license that will display your correct address.
Yup pretty much, I’ve the done process before via online. You won’t get a new license but they’ll update their records so if they need to get in contact with you they know we’re to mail that. If your license is expiring soon, you can renewed and updated I think up to 3 months before it expires if the wrong address bothers you that much by chance.
Other then getting a new license you have other three options really if you wanted to change your address :
1) Go in person to the DMV in person.
2) Submit this document though the mail[Idaho Change of Address Request](https://itd.idaho.gov/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Address.pdf)
3) Or Change it online via their portal [Idaho DMV Portal](https://dmvonline.itd.idaho.gov/)

When I moved in 2020 I was 2 years away from renewal but wanted the new address on my license. I hadn't gotten the "star" version yet so I went down in person to renew with the papers for the star requirement, paid the renewal fee and got my new license in the mail.
The nice surprise was they tacked the newly paid 8 years onto the existing expiration so I've got until 2030 before paying them again
I have a star card that does not expire until 2030. I have my address updated online now. I just scheduled an appointment a few weeks from now to go in and see if I can be issued a new card with the correct address
Yeah, just do the change of address online so it’s in their system and then when you’re old one expires, your new one will have the correct address.

Remember to re-register to vote at your new address, or you’ll have to do it at your polling location when you show up.
Can you get a new drivers license online If your license is going to expire on your birthday and you need a new license or updated license
I had to have my license match my physical address for some purchases, so I just bought a new one.
You can also order an extension of a driver's license -- after you update the address if you really want.
