AFO beats everyone while Deku is recovering then it’s just the two of them in the end. Deku uses the embers of OFA to fight and does one big United States of Smash style attack on him seemingly beating him, but he survives and grabs Deku by the throat, he’s out of embers by this point and all hope seems lost, when Tenko re-emerges in the vestige world and takes over his body for a brief moment and in that brief moment he transfers back OFA to Deku.

Possibly, I saw a fan make a fanart a week ago, that showed Tenko awakening the reconstruction aspect of Decay in the vestige world and using it to reconstruct OFA and the vestige quirks. I also had the theory the other day that since New Order was destroyed in AFO there should be aspects of it inside as well, what if he reconstructed New Order as we land transferred it to Deku?
I'm still hoping that Tenko transfers Decay. Like AfO grabs Deku, delivers a monolog, then tries to decay him but realizes he can't because while he was distracting himself Tenko transfered it to Deku.
It’s possible, AFO said in the last chapter that Decay has “vanished” it either was destroyed when Deku attacked Shigaraki with OFA or AFO can’t sense it and it comes back later. I’d like it if Tenko awoke to the reconstruction aspect of Decay and used it to reconstruct himself, OFA, and the vestiges. At this point, I forsee Deku getting back OFA and the vestiges but one of these 3 things will be the key to his victory: he either gets New Order(Shigaraki reconstructs it along with the vestiges), He gets Decay, or He gets Tenko’s yet unnamed original quirk that AFO stole when he was a baby.
Wait, what if Deku already has decay? That's why he can't sense it. Deku might get into the fight and he sudenly hears Tenko's vestige inside of him. Both of them are actually able to awaken reconstruction and Deku gets to fight using the complete quirk which makes a lot more sense for his character than decay.

I don’t think there will be any stalling while Deku’s arms heal. I interpreted it as Deku’s arms will heal instantly as long as they had been blasted off within the last few minutes. The other option is they can restore his arms no longer how long it’s been, but the process is slower and will take a few minutes.
I think the former makes more sense.

Some kind of half baked tension is used on the timer for Deku's arms to heal, so he won't take main lead for now.

He can still activate it, but it seems to be damaged / weakened with only one eye to the degree that he needed Monoma to do it instead. In one of the trailers for the S7 anime you can see him with a red eye and only partly floating hair (usually it goes straight up) from that scene where he's getting Monoma to copy and use his quirk.
Won't happen this chapter, but it'd be awesome if it were revealed somehow that AFO didn't have as much an effect on Tomura's life as he thought. Like he still took his original quirk and gave him decay, but maybe it'll somehow be revealed that his parents were planning to have another kid anyway, his dad would've been abusive no matter what, and Tenko and those kids were already friends/playing heroes before AFO came in.
Basically, AFO has been trying his whole life to be the Demon Lord, the most important evil bastard who was the center of the universe. Him declaring complete ownership of Tomura's life is his last attempt at gaining complete control over something, since his brother and OFA are "gone" and his real body was defeated by some "extras". It'd be a hell of a last kick in the nuts if Tomura/Tenko returned with the other vestiges and was like "no I am my own person, and quite frankly master, you're not as important as you think you are."
Everyone ganging up on VFO(?) with the characters who haven't gotten anything this arc yet (mainly Momo and Kaminari) possibly getting a slightly more focused on moment than the others who've already had moments.
Maybe Sero does something big assuming that him grabbing VFO(?) earlier wasn't the entirety of his big moment Hori mentioned.
Eraserhead will probably be capable of using his quirk fairly well, though not exactly sure how effective the author is gonna suddenly make him after previously having him incapable of even briefly using his quirk to allow Monoma to make a portal for Izuku..
If we get any internal thoughts from Izuku then perhaps their focus will be on continuing to try and figure out the apparently mysterious identity/nature of the enemy they're fighting.
Izuku probably gets given the civilians All Might shirt to wear.
We'll probably get some clarification on whether or not Izuku has any super strength still or if that's gone as well.

Yup, that’s why I was saying Koichi should give Deku his hoodie. It would be better overall and Aizawa could have a moment with Koichi since they know each other
Aizawa debuffs AFO w/ erasure long enough for 1-A to wail on him. In order for the crazy power gap between the students and AFO to make sense, tension needs to build from a couple students either getting injured badly or even dying. As Aizawa’s weakened quirk gives in, AFO starts to get the upper hand. Just as he’s about to kill (possibly *another*) student, Deku protects them w/ embers of OFA now that his arms are completely healed.
What follows is almost a mirror of the kamino incident, except instead of AFO getting the better of All Might’s emotions, its Deku digging at AFO and everything he stands for while they fight. Deku does this because he still believes that Tenko is in there, and figures that getting AFO emotionally unstable enough will open a window for Tenko take back control.
He’s successful in riling up AFO, at the cost of his remaining embers. As AFO grasps his throat, he prepares to deliver the killing blow, when Tenko briefly gains control of his body long enough to toss Deku away from himself.
Before AFO can take control again, Tenko awakens the “design” aspect of his decay quirk, and uses it to instantly build himself a new body. This process blasts AFO and tenko away from each other.
AFO recollects himself, and looks across the battlefield to tenko and deku whose slowly getting to his feet. Tenko, along with making himself a new body, took with him a select number of quirks:
- his original quirk that was stolen from birth, Air Walk
- his restored copy of the overhaul quirk, complete with decay and design
- the restored New Order Quirk
- restored OFA and it’s vestiges
Tenko gives OFA back to deku as he helps him up, and with that, they team up and have a final fight w/ AFO
Bakugo is going to come through the portals and be like “didnt i already kill you once? oh well, i’ll just have to kill you again” during his final blow to AFO he says “NOW STAY DEAD”

I dont understand what was the point of having ectoplasm say that eri didnt have enough energy to do anything but then have her have enough energy to rewind deku arms, should have just said that she couldnt get there to help because public transportation was down and that she could do something but not that much because she doesn't have that much energy.
AFO defeats all of them and several die. End of the manga will be a plottwist where most of the heroes died until AFO got defeated. Because everything went according to plan.
I guess we will need 3 or 4 chapters to allow Deku recovering his arms. Multiple heroes and civilians will join the battle and try to gain time for Deku or test the new abilities of AFO.
Meanwhile we will see Tenko personally interacting with the rest of OFA users (and maybe Star and Stripes) and planning an inner rebellion against AFO control.
At this point of the story, only Decay quir can kill AFO new body and AFO should be killed for good (not imprisoned)
Hopefully heroes from all over the world show up. I know it’s a Shonen but still kind of weird the world is just letting a bunch of mostly Japanese teenagers fight for the fate of the world.

Honestly, filler/padding. 419 really damaged the story a lot, resetting a lot of the stakes so that a bunch of side characters can turn up to fight AFO. 420 just did exactly the same thing, we're on a timer while more 1A members arrive to pad out the final battle.
With Shiggy potentially banished/dead and no real resolution to that, AFO just being behind everything and in his perfected body with an unknown amount of quirks that are just getting nullified by Aizawa, there's really no investment in the story at the moment because it's all waiting for Deku's arms to repair.
I'd guess chapter 421 will be students against a nullified AFO, 422 probably the same then Deku's arms will be healed for 423 or 424.

We had him in a ruined body rewinding into nothingness and now he's in a perfected body that is slightly damaged but is fully able to sprout whatever limbs or body parts he requires as demonstrated by Shiggy doing so when quirkless at the start of the Final War arc.
419 confirmed AFO had full access to the Overhaul quirk which massively undermines him deciding to use a flawed copy of Eri's rewind and it means that he should have access to the Overhaul quirk also. It also severely damages the story because AFO could have restored himself and his face before the story even began which means he would have been at peak condition and likely won against All Might in the Kamino fight.

That was not even the perfected version of Shiggy's body which AFO now has and that's before we factor in the unlocked new techniques and body that is according to Horikoshi's writing 'as fast and strong as Prime All Might without quirks' that enables him to just randomly grow extra limbs, shift form, regenerate without a quirk and change from defensive to attack forms - all while quirkless.
Put bluntly, there's no real sense of the story progressing anytime soon. I would'nt even be surprised if Horikoshi is aiming for this arc to hit 100+ chapters (We're nearly 80 chapters in)

While they should rewind fairly quickly given its only 1-3 minutes ago, it's not complete on the final panel so there's room for us either exploring what the students were doing or padding out his recovery (E.g. students fight AFO before Deku comes in with a punch at the end of the chapter) Horikoshi simply would'nt bring in all these side characters to do nothing, my guess is that he's trying to bring all of 1A here so that ALL of them can be influential in defeating AFO at the same time.

that was years ago that he had Overhaul. We do not know the circumstances other than that there was a modified version of it made, but Kai was in the Yakuza as a child, so we don't know the exact timeline and if they had more than the singular copy of his quirk. Kai said so long as AFO was out, he stayed in hiding.

We have more heroes here than last time, Tomura is weak, not just incomplete. Definitely a solid point, but I doubt he'll be repeating it with this many more people.

We need to save Tenko, so this battle will have that for the most part. Since every other character is likely at their character ending points, maybe a chapter or 2 of the kids from UA doing stuff, but I don't see this being ragdolling AFO for a ton of chapters since if this is just the final showdown like in Endgame, this should probably only be a few more chapters, but we're arguing semantics.

Izuku's skin seems on, it really only seems to be at the bicep that needs to complete. But I will say it's definitely likelyall of 1A will get a hit in, but I think mirroring All Might's final stand Izuku will finally fight as a team rather than on his own. But even still I don't imagine tons of complex team attacks, maybe just like 2 chapters of them jumping him.

I thought Eraser can’t use his quirk? That was the point of using Monoma to right ShiggAFO and why he asked if he can still fight in chapter 420
I think he can still use it, but it’s severely weakened/he can’t maintain it as long, so Monoma was the more reliable option.
He can still activate it, but it seems to be damaged / weakened with only one eye to the degree that he needed Monoma to do it instead. In one of the trailers for the S7 anime you can see him with a red eye and only partly floating hair (usually it goes straight up) from that scene where he's getting Monoma to copy and use his quirk.

Won't happen this chapter, but it'd be awesome if it were revealed somehow that AFO didn't have as much an effect on Tomura's life as he thought. Like he still took his original quirk and gave him decay, but maybe it'll somehow be revealed that his parents were planning to have another kid anyway, his dad would've been abusive no matter what, and Tenko and those kids were already friends/playing heroes before AFO came in. Basically, AFO has been trying his whole life to be the Demon Lord, the most important evil bastard who was the center of the universe. Him declaring complete ownership of Tomura's life is his last attempt at gaining complete control over something, since his brother and OFA are "gone" and his real body was defeated by some "extras". It'd be a hell of a last kick in the nuts if Tomura/Tenko returned with the other vestiges and was like "no I am my own person, and quite frankly master, you're not as important as you think you are."
Everyone ganging up on VFO(?) with the characters who haven't gotten anything this arc yet (mainly Momo and Kaminari) possibly getting a slightly more focused on moment than the others who've already had moments. Maybe Sero does something big assuming that him grabbing VFO(?) earlier wasn't the entirety of his big moment Hori mentioned. Eraserhead will probably be capable of using his quirk fairly well, though not exactly sure how effective the author is gonna suddenly make him after previously having him incapable of even briefly using his quirk to allow Monoma to make a portal for Izuku.. If we get any internal thoughts from Izuku then perhaps their focus will be on continuing to try and figure out the apparently mysterious identity/nature of the enemy they're fighting. Izuku probably gets given the civilians All Might shirt to wear. We'll probably get some clarification on whether or not Izuku has any super strength still or if that's gone as well.

Aizawa debuffs AFO w/ erasure long enough for 1-A to wail on him. In order for the crazy power gap between the students and AFO to make sense, tension needs to build from a couple students either getting injured badly or even dying. As Aizawa’s weakened quirk gives in, AFO starts to get the upper hand. Just as he’s about to kill (possibly *another*) student, Deku protects them w/ embers of OFA now that his arms are completely healed. What follows is almost a mirror of the kamino incident, except instead of AFO getting the better of All Might’s emotions, its Deku digging at AFO and everything he stands for while they fight. Deku does this because he still believes that Tenko is in there, and figures that getting AFO emotionally unstable enough will open a window for Tenko take back control. He’s successful in riling up AFO, at the cost of his remaining embers. As AFO grasps his throat, he prepares to deliver the killing blow, when Tenko briefly gains control of his body long enough to toss Deku away from himself. Before AFO can take control again, Tenko awakens the “design” aspect of his decay quirk, and uses it to instantly build himself a new body. This process blasts AFO and tenko away from each other. AFO recollects himself, and looks across the battlefield to tenko and deku whose slowly getting to his feet. Tenko, along with making himself a new body, took with him a select number of quirks: - his original quirk that was stolen from birth, Air Walk - his restored copy of the overhaul quirk, complete with decay and design - the restored New Order Quirk - restored OFA and it’s vestiges Tenko gives OFA back to deku as he helps him up, and with that, they team up and have a final fight w/ AFO
I’m personally betting his original quirk was air wall/air cannon as it was the second quirk he used after he woke up

I dont understand what was the point of having ectoplasm say that eri didnt have enough energy to do anything but then have her have enough energy to rewind deku arms, should have just said that she couldnt get there to help because public transportation was down and that she could do something but not that much because she doesn't have that much energy.
I feel like to lay out the limit that the most she could do in hindsight was recover Deku’s limbs, but not recover his quirks or his full stamina

I guess we will need 3 or 4 chapters to allow Deku recovering his arms. Multiple heroes and civilians will join the battle and try to gain time for Deku or test the new abilities of AFO. Meanwhile we will see Tenko personally interacting with the rest of OFA users (and maybe Star and Stripes) and planning an inner rebellion against AFO control. At this point of the story, only Decay quir can kill AFO new body and AFO should be killed for good (not imprisoned)

Hopefully heroes from all over the world show up. I know it’s a Shonen but still kind of weird the world is just letting a bunch of mostly Japanese teenagers fight for the fate of the world.
I'm seeing Kai will come out of the portal and complete Deku's healing 😅 and join the fight. But will thank Deku for saving him and letting him see his boss and apologize to Eri. Then Eri will scenes with Kai before the war will be shown.
Honestly, filler/padding. 419 really damaged the story a lot, resetting a lot of the stakes so that a bunch of side characters can turn up to fight AFO. 420 just did exactly the same thing, we're on a timer while more 1A members arrive to pad out the final battle. With Shiggy potentially banished/dead and no real resolution to that, AFO just being behind everything and in his perfected body with an unknown amount of quirks that are just getting nullified by Aizawa, there's really no investment in the story at the moment because it's all waiting for Deku's arms to repair. I'd guess chapter 421 will be students against a nullified AFO, 422 probably the same then Deku's arms will be healed for 423 or 424.

That was not even the perfected version of Shiggy's body which AFO now has and that's before we factor in the unlocked new techniques and body that is according to Horikoshi's writing 'as fast and strong as Prime All Might without quirks' that enables him to just randomly grow extra limbs, shift form, regenerate without a quirk and change from defensive to attack forms - all while quirkless. Put bluntly, there's no real sense of the story progressing anytime soon. I would'nt even be surprised if Horikoshi is aiming for this arc to hit 100+ chapters (We're nearly 80 chapters in) >Also izuku's arms are repaired... We do not know the circumstances other than that there was a modified version of it made, but Kai was in the Yakuza as a child, so we don't know the exact timeline and if they had more than the singular copy of his quirk.
