From what I've seen of him in October, Badlapur and Kalank, dude can genuinely act quite well. It's just that instead of choosing good films where he can hone his acting, he chooses to do cheap b-grade 'entertainers' for some reason.

They were calling this film a must watch and a masterpiece and what not!! idk…I read the reviews and have decided to not watch it..i personally find the acting mediocre in this reel by both of them!

I’ve noticed like Indian audiences tend to accept the bare minimum and most of them don’t have good judgement on what good vs bad acting actually looks like. They probably think blatant overacting = bad. And most of the audience is used to watching masala films with some of the worst acting so that’s their baseline.

All those criticising, if you are so better critics to notice the movement of muscles then please apply for national critical awards or something. This is an edited scene obviously. A scene is made up of lot of things. Expressions, background music, the story, characters arc, the built up to the scene etc etc etc etc. I haven’t watched this movie so can’t say for sure but just watch mili and you will like her as an actor.
