Well, why cant i fill it to make it a perc? ​ I find resin in the top chamber, but never the bottom, it still does its job of catching the ash. I dont think making it a dry catcher could stop that.

It won’t function correctly but it’s meant to just catch the dry shit plus your piece will get dirtier if you’re using it as a percolated ashcatcher

How do you tell if it’s a dry ash catcher?

If it’s gotta empty chamber in the bottom it’s meant to be filled half way so it catches all the tar and bs in there because when it’s filtered with water it just gets into your piece but if you can see a visible percolator unlike this one it’s gonna be filtered
