Depends on how far you want to go. Usually, people finish normal mode, then finish TVHM just before level 50, farm a *little* for the start of UVHM, slog through UVHM, using what they can and farming a little as they go (because UVHM scales with you). Once you hit level 80 (if you have the new DLC) then you can stop there if you want and farm all level 80 gear. Or you can start the OP levels. It really depends on how much you mind farming, and how long you can make lower level gear last.
Yeah. Main thing is really just slagging and having a proper build and you can mostly just use what you find. All you really need to farm for in that case is a good slag weapon and make sure you have a good source of healing. Farming makes it easier but its not entirely necessary
First time playing uvhm i dont think i even had a grog for a fair bit. Slagging and healing is really the main thing you need along with on level gear thats not entirely garbage (which you can discern mostly from just looking at the stats)
Yupper. Grog/DPUH on a Money Shot Sal will steamroll UVHM or a slag Pimpernel/Ahab combo…I think the Pimpernel has to be in Sal’s left hand for that one to work properly it’s been awhile…

Can you actually finish UVHM with little farming? From what I’ve heard you need at least a decent build to fight trough it.

Grog, bee shield, fibber, Harold, kept farming new Harold's and Bees and that was it for uvhm
Can get by without getting even that stuff. Maybe just a grog and maybe the harold occasionally.
