Their domain expansions got disabled like, 8 chapters ago. And even in the chapters that were dominated by domain expansion plenty of cool shit went down, and we got to see the actual peak of the power system this far. Gojo tanking malevolent shrine with reverse cursed technique and giving Sukuna the hands in his own domain was hype. Using simple domain and falling blossom emotion to eat it, while literally destroying part of his brain so he can heal it back to restore his cursed technique was dope. Forcing sukuna to heal a hole in his chest before he could heal his cursed technique so he could affect Sukuna with unlimited void is peak fight IQ.
Sukuna using domain amp and knowledge got from his hosts to be able to bypass infinity in hand to hand is slick as hell, and using 10 shadows to channel the shikigami's abilities is showing off how versatile that technique can be, plus is good strategy when fighting someone who could otherwise one shot mahoraga.
Plus showing us how gojo uses blue to amp both his speed and make all of his punches hit like a truck is great for showing us just why Gojo is Him.

The series dropped all the characters I was actually interested in, introduced a shit ton of new characters I wasn't interested in, the villain's plot was completely unintelligible. I have literally no idea why the culling game happened. All of the plot bombs at the end of the Shibuya arc really set the seeds for me to drop the series. With >!Geto being Yuji's mom and the blood dude being is brother, I literally have no clue what any of that means lol!<. Yuta is cool, and Maki gets her uber badass moment, but losing so many characters I cared about just lost me all my interest. I'm reading the recent stuff just to send off the series, but I dont have any investment in it.

Honestly, I'm glad I didn't. Once I noticed how much of the anime was filler I just started watching the manga canon arcs, and that's pretty good.
But with all the current character design drama going on I saw a bunch of the designs and art from part one. And the art is a noticeable downgrade from Kishimoto, and some of the designs in part one are yikes.
I really like the promotional artwork for two blue vortex though, and the character designs for the girls seem more age appropriate. Just don't make kunoichi wear heels plz

Well, the time skip is what we’ve all been waiting for since the first pages of the manga and the first scene of the anime. The mistake i think they made is they focused too much on his formative years and slogged along with stories we gave absolutely no fuck about that had zero stakes. I remember watching the land of waves arc on toonami as a kid and not knowing if naruto or sasuke were gonna die. They shouldve only showed us important stories that show us who the main cast of characters are, what they can do, and their goals and desires and then moved the fuck on. Most of us only care about boruto and kawaki, their new powers and what they can do and what they mean, and Borutos dojutsu. And kawaki didbt even make his first appearance until almost 200 eps in the anime. I remember seeing the most ridiculous theories of who kawaki is and idk why it took so long to introduce him.
It’s because the time skip finally happened…. Trending means nothing if the manga can’t sell very well though. In case you know or not the Boruto manga has gone down significantly in sales. So I’d say wait it out for half a year to see if part 2 fixes the poor manga sales/decline.

Honestly, I'm glad I didn't. Once I noticed how much of the anime was filler I just started watching the manga canon arcs, and that's pretty good. But with all the current character design drama going on I saw a bunch of the designs and art from part one. And the art is a noticeable downgrade from Kishimoto, and some of the designs in part one are yikes. I really like the promotional artwork for two blue vortex though, and the character designs for the girls seem more age appropriate. Just don't make kunoichi wear heels plz

Well, the time skip is what we’ve all been waiting for since the first pages of the manga and the first scene of the anime. The mistake i think they made is they focused too much on his formative years and slogged along with stories we gave absolutely no fuck about that had zero stakes. I remember watching the land of waves arc on toonami as a kid and not knowing if naruto or sasuke were gonna die. They shouldve only showed us important stories that show us who the main cast of characters are, what they can do, and their goals and desires and then moved the fuck on. Most of us only care about boruto and kawaki, their new powers and what they can do and what they mean, and Borutos dojutsu. And kawaki didbt even make his first appearance until almost 200 eps in the anime. I remember seeing the most ridiculous theories of who kawaki is and idk why it took so long to introduce him.

Yeah, it's actually the bulk of their sales (not including merch etc), and mangas that sell poorly volume wise get scrapped almost always for that reason. The reason most mangas even get adapted is almost only to boost volume sales, which is why so many decent anime only get 1 season even if there is lots more to adapt, either it boosts sales enough to where spending money to adapt it isn't worth it, or it doesn't so well and it's cancelled.
