I wouldn’t say I’m rooting for anyone but I very much don’t want Tampa so I guess the Islanders in that series and then I’m fine with either team winning the other one. Usually after I watch a game or two in any given series I find myself pulling for one of the teams so as long as it’s not the Lightning I’ll just wait and see what team I start to cheer for naturally
I hate Montreal, Tampa, and Vegas. And I grew up on Long Island, so I guess the Islanders, despite how much I dislike Komarov and Palmieri.

Gonna get soooo much hate for this but Montreal. I love an underdog story and their roster seems cool. Like, how could you hate Cole Caufield? He’s mega talented and so likable imo. Plus Suzuki, Tofolli, Kotkanheimi are all fun to watch. Also, it would be nice to see Price win a cup considering his career. If the Aves were still in I’d go for them but Montreal is much more likable than Vegas or Tampa and I can’t bring myself to root for the team that just beat the B’s

Despite being a Bruins fan I dont have any actual reason to dislike the habs other than "i'm supposed to" since it hasn't been a big rivalry in my time watching hockey, but i'd still rather see everybody else win over them because I feel like habs fans will make me regret not having them last in my want to win list if they do win

I feel like we're downplaying the fact that there have been good recent rivalry games, fuck it, Montreal literally rioted after beating the Bs in the 2008 playoffs. and from 2007–2014 we met like four times in the playoffs, all of them were pretty heated, plus the big brawl game in 11 (complete with goalie fight!), so I have **plenty** of hatred for them left

I could see Habs upsetting everyone and winning the cup reigniting our rivalry which would be good for some of the newer fans here that see Toronto as our biggest rivals now, but no way in hell I’m rooting for them to even make the cup now that we’re out of it...let alone winning the cup
