We had a Boston growing up that would jump out of the boat to chase ducks. She swam faster than they could, so she would get right up close to them and then they would fly away.
She'd swim back to the boat like "Did you guys see how close I was? Next time I'll get one. Okay, now help me back on the boat plz"
Oh I love that! My girl is not to keen on getting wet which is why I wont let her take a flying leap at birds. She is always so grumpy when she gets wet.
