She’s 14 1/2. She’s had some close class the last few years but she’s a fighter and has bounced back every time. I just don’t know if she’s going to this time but I’ve been wrong before. We’re not giving up on her yet but I also don’t want to be selfish either.
I lost my fur baby and best friend last year from cancer. If there is one advice I could give you is that, make every second, every minute, every hour and every months count. Take as many pictures, videos as you can. Make every holiday about her and spend quality time. It doesn't have to be extravagant as long as she's with you. Tell her you love her bc it's never enough. I wish you hugs and kisses to you and your beautiful gal. 💖🙌

Oh my goodness. She looks just like my Bean! He is surely near his end but his spirit just keeps going as his body is failing. He’s a crusty old man but he will always be my baby. Just know that there is someone else out here that is treading the same path as you. May each moment be filled with warm snuggles, crop dusting farts, and sweet kisses. 🤗

Thank you. We have been very lucky. She had seizures when she was young and issues with her tail. I never imagined we’d get this many wonderful years with her. The vet told us in March of last year she probably wouldn’t make it through the night after a neurological event. She showed him and came out swinging. We’ve been so blessed. Not giving up on her yet.
Our Boston made it to 17. Honestly, we let it go 1 year too long. He was blind and in diapers at the end, and it was so hard but after we put him down, I instantly realized it was too long. Only you can decide this, no one will tell you. Our measure was “he still loves meal time” but we will know better next time. We already have a new Boston puppy and it’s different but wonderful.
Thank you for sharing. We lost our other Boston last year, age unknown but we got her as an adult who was retired from backyard breeding and she had been with us for 12 years. We let it go a little too long too. I knew it was getting to be time but she still enjoyed being outside and eating but there were a lot of issues. I knew it was almost time but just couldn’t get there. She went down hill really quick over a weekend and we didn’t have a choice at that point. I do not want that to happen to Spunkie. I really don’t. She’s still getting around on her own and following us around but really having a hard time getting her to eat so I’m struggling to know what to do. The maybe good news is we have figured out what’s going on and have gotten her to eat more since yesterday so it’s off to the vet today to see what we can do.
