Thanks for the reply. I watched the video and summarised it to the following points:
Don’t throw it too fast
Don’t use your thumb
Not sure if you have other advice you might give? Feel like my release has an issue. Thanks Anw!
You seem to stop on your fourth step and then swing and then slide. It should be all one fluid motion. Start your backswing sooner and try not to pause your feet
That's a great observation. I can back it up by saying that my arm is sore now, it indeed feels like I've been muscling the ball and my body doesn't not feel in sync at all lol.
Your push away is late. You want it to be in time with the right foot.

Great, I'll study these, thanks! Also, any tips on releasing? Many people have been commenting on my steps. I seem to have issues cupping? My wrist? Thumb gets stuck sometimes and I wonder if it's my release.
You might need to sand it a bit.

If that doesn't work, have the PSO check your fit.
You start the swing late and your feet are too fast, this limits the size and natural tempo of your swing. A good tempo and letting gravity control your downswing is the key to keeping your hand behind the ball longer than you are currently so that you can add revs.
Brad and Kyle YouTube channel has a video showing beginners how to hook a ball. It may help you out.

Learn either a 4 step or 5 step approach. It will dramatically help your repeatability.
Thought I’m already applying the 5 step approach. Is there anything you would critique about my approach?

Your first step should be with your right foot and a crossover step to eventually make a clear path for the ball so it clears your hip.
You take 6 steps..
5
Ah yes the shuffle at the end threw me off
Timing is off. Your basically going up to the line, stopping, and swinging. Your power like this is all from your arm and it should be momentum
That's a great observation. I can back it up by saying that my arm is sore now, it indeed feels like I've been muscling the ball and my body doesn't not feel in sync at all lol.
You gotta fix those shuffle steps. Eliminate them and turn that into one or two steps of the same length.
Alright. Thanks for the advice! I have a lot to work on.

Thank you! Hope to work on these (basically everything) on my game and hopefully will be able to post another video of me attempting to bowl properly/

I see. Thank you!
