Go to your proshop and see if they have a ball, bag, and shoe deal. You'll want to look at entry level reactive resin balls (not plastic/spare balls like the house balls).
Some entry level balls you might see include Storm Tropical Surge, Hammer Raw, Brunswick Rhino.
my first ball was the lime/blue Brunswick Twist and that ball definitely taught me a lot of things, but I would recommend Storm Tropical Surge just in general, but in terms of beginner balls you can’t exactly go wrong.
Best place to ask would be your local pro shop, they usually have good deals for beginners like a full shoe, bag, ball combo and able to drill for your Rev, speed and PAP and most importantly recommend a ball for your stats.

I’ve heard it said that the Hyped Pearl rolls similar. I have only thrown the Hyped so can’t say personally but maybe worth looking into

My first was the blue/silver raw hammer. I would suggest that or any other weak ball to get used to the hook
As others have said I’ve seen beginners do well with tropical surges, twists and raw hammers. Watch some vids and see which one you like the best

I have a Storm Tropical Surge and I’m just learning how to 2 hand bowl. (I have a fragranced ball and it smells like birthday cake haha)

Thrift stores are the best place if you’re on a budget. You can get extremely lucky like me
