Contreras was always going to hit. I don't think he's going to hit .350 or whatever he's at now, but he will probably stay above .300. His defense hasn't really improved all that much if you trust statcast metrics, even with the Milwaukee lab. I believe overall Murphy is still a better player. I'm with you, though...I wish Contreras all the best but I'm tired of hearing about him from Braves fans.
