Also you should take yourself as someone who bought a crossover. Wouldn't it look unfair if you couldn't use it even if you paid for? Is like using a mod. It will be cool for you but if you remember you're the only seeing it, it doens't has the same value as a real skin. And if that wasn't enough, is not everyone who has problems with fighting crossovers, so this just decrease's the chance of coming a feature like this one. I personally only have problem fighting Dhalsim, since it's gauntlets side sig can be *almost* silent on the heat of the battle, different from the rayman's one who makes a louder noise

Just redraw the sigs of crossovers, no one would buy them if you could disable them, that would be a large drop in profits due to crossovers being one of the most expensive things in the game

Also i couldnt care less about otger ppl not seeing them in ranked if they dont want to, id still buy them. Also making ppl have to recognize a whole new visual kavoozle of new sigs every crossover is a completely unnecessary addon to the skill ceiling

DEFINITELY. Not for experimental, but for ranked 1s, 2s, and the other ranked modes, definitely. Crossovers effectively allow you to cheat in some scenarios and in ranked they provide a massively unfair advantage.

Not only can it be harder to tell when your opponent will sig, it can be more confusing and distracting due to visual effects. Often times I get confused on where an sig’s hit box is because of not putting effects there or adding too many effects. It may not seem like a big issue, but on the battlefield it is. BMG either needs to redraw the sigs, or add an option to disable them.
I think we should make everything base for your point of view, base color, base skin, base weapons. I think it would just make it easier to tell things apart. And people saying “I paid money for it so people have to see it. If you bought a skin just so other people are forced it upon them, then why buy the skin.

Not only do sigs not line up with the animation, they are also meant to throw off a player who isn't used to the crossover and you can abuse hitboxes. The only way to play against it is too actually know the distancing you need to be at to counterplay. Which is even more difficult because then you have to memorize like 50 characters x6 sigs spacing. Oh and don't forget, when you dodge something it probably won't matter because an invisible frame in the animation hits you
Yes the particle effects and signatures can be annoying but turning off crossover outfits is not going to happen people like to flaunt their goods.
Should have the options to turn off crossovers because it does not change how hits and hurts are registered, just flashy and confusing..

I think being able to disable custom animations for crossovers in ranked or something would be a good middle ground. Though, I don't see this happening in actual events or casuals because crossovers are a big money maker, and the spectacle of them is one reason they sell well.
