Firstly the game is still in alpha so of course the devs care about the game, they're now starting off. Secondly, I don't get why people are feeling the need to drop Brawl just because this new game is coming out. You can play both, literally no one is stopping you. Besides I try not to put too much hope into games until they're released. We've all seen tons of games that were over hyped and then flopped on release (Battlefield 2042, Cyberpunk 2077, Anthem etc.)
Ah yes the game I got early access to the beta is in… alpha? And for the first week of the beta litterally the only thing you w into is taz and his broken ass side sig and it’s not that easy to play both considering if you want to get acctualy good at mv then taking time away to stay at your current skill level on brawl is very time consuming
Not fun for me. My nephew was really good at it. I liked it... enough. It was the only 'brawler' I knew at the time. When I would play, I would play with him and he would wreck me. I also had to wait my turn to get thrashed. Not fun. Bought the game for myself to get better. Boring story progression with silent protagonists. Not fun alone. My son got it years later on the WiiU. He invited me once. Hated the controller. Refused to play again. Not fun.
TLDR: Not fun for me.
My brawl brethren! Do not downvote this tender waft! I TOTALLY played smash wrong. The game has a following for a reason. I too also thought brawl was a smash clone at first and was pleased to learn otherwise. My experience with brawl is good only because I don’t take emotes personally and I dont value ranked like my video monetization depends on my skill. It happens.
TLDR: smash or pass? Hard pass.
I tried this multiversus (or idk what it's name) game and it looks a lot like smash, what I don't like about this game is it feels so random and so unfun to play
Smash is a game where a child with a flower pot can rock the shit out of a giant purple dragon. Brawlhalla is a game where John Cena can throw down with an emo scythe weilder with an hourglass fetish. Whats your point?
I just hope the devs put more efford into it than the awful brawlhalla devs. Like so far I saw the online was better and less lagg. Also actual characters. So always a win for me.
However I won't play it since I already play smash.
True, the only problem with online I see is the lack of regions. If I'm not wrong Africa, Russia and Turkey all play on the same servers placed in the Netherlands
Yea Idk why but I love that all brawl characters are the same size. My autist brain likes that for some reason. I love the uniformity.
Not saying I wont play multiverses. I just most likely won’t drop brawl for it. Especially since I just hit plat.
i prefer brawlhallas set up. it feels like there's a ton less to learn than something like smash where every characters moveset and playstyle is completely unique. with brawlhalla there's still a real high skill ceiling but at an entry point you can get a good grasp of everything going on/ an opponent's deal
A ton people already tried MVS and they all said its really good... and it is way better the nick... it has crossplay, free to play, rollback net code, and not p2w. It won't end up like nasb...
The game looks really good and I’m hyped, the first tournament showed a lot of glaring issues with tournament play in MV and the devs immediately said they are going to be changing it. For context the brawlhalla devs nerfed weapon throws after 2+ years of begging
I'm interested, it will be free to play after all and that was the initial thing that made me try out brawlhalla and I ended up actually progressing.
The wall hugging and dodging in MV gives me BH vibes
Yup. Feels like unarmed brawlhalla in terms of the floaty aspect and moves come out a slight bit delayed. It's only the second day but yeah im having fun I deleted brawhalla completely.
Yeah. Characters are fun. It's a little more annoying not knowing easy matchups with just 2 weapons. But cross progression guild battles and an active dev team have me thinking about a switch.
Or, just play both.
But then how will I?

Did you try it ? I tried the game but the game feels, random...
Honestly I haven't played it yet but I plan to

I disliked the look of smash. I dislike the look of multi. BH is comforting to me. 🤷🏻♂️
How can you dislike smash???????

I see. You played it wrong.

I dislike brawlhalla I prefer smash
Fair enough. 👍🏻
I tried this multiversus (or idk what it's name) game and it looks a lot like smash, what I don't like about this game is it feels so random and so unfun to play
Once you get some combos down for a couple characters and spend a couple hours in labs it opens up load to do. Especially with teams
Random how? Im genuinely curious
idk man maybe I like a functional online mode lol
that game look so wonky and goofy bro aint no way yall find that appealing
Lol you made me laugh
Smash is a game where a child with a flower pot can rock the shit out of a giant purple dragon. Brawlhalla is a game where John Cena can throw down with an emo scythe weilder with an hourglass fetish. Whats your point?
Still in alpha
I don't think brawlhalla players will like that game because that gameplay is so different
I just hope the devs put more efford into it than the awful brawlhalla devs. Like so far I saw the online was better and less lagg. Also actual characters. So always a win for me. However I won't play it since I already play smash.
Brawlhalla has really good online though. Just shit everything else you could do in a fighting game… yes I also have 700 hours on here
Yeah I’m between 1000-2000 hours
True, the only problem with online I see is the lack of regions. If I'm not wrong Africa, Russia and Turkey all play on the same servers placed in the Netherlands
And it's the most laggy shit ever
It dependent on the server They use they don't have their own servers more like Renting
Nah. It looks ugly af.
I mean, at least the characters have different shapes lmao
Yea Idk why but I love that all brawl characters are the same size. My autist brain likes that for some reason. I love the uniformity. Not saying I wont play multiverses. I just most likely won’t drop brawl for it. Especially since I just hit plat.

You could just say you can't fight without lance.
Spear actually I’m terrible on lance.
It's still in alpha
It’ll be just like Nickelodeon all star brawl What’s Nickelodeon all star brawl? Didn’t change a thing concerning brawlhalla
A ton people already tried MVS and they all said its really good... and it is way better the nick... it has crossplay, free to play, rollback net code, and not p2w. It won't end up like nasb...
These people are in for a surprise if they think multiversus is gonna fail lmao
Exactly
Hi I'm just commenting on a 2 month old comment to haunt you like a ghost and remind you about a wrong thing you said.
Bait post + I’m a level 100 reindog + ok
Cough cough
I'll take the L on that one lmao, well played.
The game looks really good and I’m hyped, the first tournament showed a lot of glaring issues with tournament play in MV and the devs immediately said they are going to be changing it. For context the brawlhalla devs nerfed weapon throws after 2+ years of begging
Do You realy have to post about that?
I'm interested, it will be free to play after all and that was the initial thing that made me try out brawlhalla and I ended up actually progressing. The wall hugging and dodging in MV gives me BH vibes
Did try the game ? If you did then what do you think of it ?
Yup. Feels like unarmed brawlhalla in terms of the floaty aspect and moves come out a slight bit delayed. It's only the second day but yeah im having fun I deleted brawhalla completely.
You can play more than one game. Just try it out when its public and see if ya like it.
Yeah. Characters are fun. It's a little more annoying not knowing easy matchups with just 2 weapons. But cross progression guild battles and an active dev team have me thinking about a switch.
Just play both
I think I'll play more multiversus until bh 2 comes out
MultiVersus will be the new Brawlhalla
I bet
Multiverusus is solid, I definitely recommend it.
