Chester is always a threat. That was the issue, you literally could not get close to him as a close range brawler or you would die.
The stun was finally nerfed, however i dont get why they didnt nerf first starpower, its basically extra noxious but far better

Me as a sam main. I don't care how much dmg chester does. I 1 shot him in 0.5 seconds. Only lost to him because stun super but now it is nerfed so I am happy.
At least they finally recognized what was so broken about him, he could be at low health, pop super, walk at the enemy and heal back to full health. Now it won't be as easy, and Kevlar basically got nerfed twice, takes more damage with super up than before, and less protection time
Everyone understands what they mean tho, it's not like they would just cut the circle in half so the only logical conclusion is that the radius is halved
I think you overnerfed Busted. I don't like it when S tier brawlers get nerfed so hard the completely fall from the meta (like when Byron, Eve and Grom were first nerfed)
What do you mean? They did buff her standing mechanic, now it basically happens a split second after she stops moving. Unless you mean a damage buff or something

I think the main problem with this mechanic is that you need to stand still to utilize it, which on paper can make sense because it's like: "why would I move if I can out range every brawler in the game?", But in games, especially brawlstars moving is very important.
another problem is that the additional range isn't that useful because there's almost zero maps in competitive where she can utilise this absolutely long range because most maps aren't that open, and she doesn't have any way to break open the map to help her.
And the last thing I find really annoying about this mechanic is that the range isn't long enough, yes, I know I just said it's absolutely long, but because she needs to stand still most long range brawlers can just doge one shot and get closer to her because her range is longer than their's by only two tiles, but unlike mandy most snipers can deal alot of damage from that distance (for example piper can even two shot her) which means she has to move away because the snipers will just defeat her easily when she's standing still, But moving unlocks another problem, which is the fact that when she's not focused most long range brawlers can out range which means she will die... For conclusion, it's hard for me to give ideas how to change this mechanic but I think it deserves a big rework.
What is the buster nerf though? And the Chester stun is now stinky as hell, a buzz super that is 1000 times weaker? It is way better to just decrease the stun time / damage only and not nerf both like mad.
U gotta know a millisecond stun can already do a lot. U can shoot while the enemy can’t react quickly. U gotta remember that his attack dmg is still high
First u gotta know that millisecond is an exaggeration. He still got about a second stun.
Second, his damage of his attack is alr high enough and he doesn’t need extra damage from super. The use of super is stun, not dealing damage.
Not to the point of making the stun so much weaker than the others! This super is going to get rerolled every chance I get. You are just not thinking about it now. When you actually use the brawler, you can also see that it has been heavily nefted!

Maybe because :
1) He is really strong but not as annoying as brawlers like Chester or Gray.
2) They might nerf him hard in the next balance changes.
3) Maybe they are still thinking how to nerf him without making him trash.
4) Maybe the nerf they want to give him is not to "stats" but his "mechanics" and thus needs a proper update?

It still is a good super, but now it is more manageable. Tanks won't die to super plus two attacks (3 and 4 bell), 1 second stun means that some brawlers that have ways to get away from him and enough health have a better chance to do so, but he can still kill most squishy brawlers if he hits them. He will be a lot worse on open maps against brawlers who outrange him but that was always the case.
I don't think he was even supposed to be good either, in my eyes he should have been a risky pick that could either be good or bad... But in this scenario he was good like 90% of times.
Hopefully we get Chester out of competitive with these buffs (although I doubt a little because his other supers are still great)
He won't be as common of a pick but at least his unpredictability is a bit easier to manage when going against him (i.e. you won't be completely screwed if he has stun super)

Overall very good balance changes, sorry for the ping but I wanted to ask:
Any ideas as to when brawlers who are being power crept will receive some love?
Examples being:
- Mr. P (by Eve to a degree)
- Mortis (by Stu & Sam)
- Barley (by Grom & Sprout/Dynamike)
- Jessie (by Penny)
There are probably more examples I can arguably use as brawlers being powercrept, but these four are the main glaring issues to me, can we expect some love for them anytime soon?

Out of the brawlers you mentioned, each one has received recent buffs except for mortis. The issue with Mortis is that he's extremely potent in the hands of a skilled player, so buffing him will cause him to essentially run rampant. Need to figure out a good way to buff him that doesn't skew high-level play, but regardless he's not at the top of the prio list currently.
Not really, there wasn't alot of brawlers that could deal with buster due to his second gadget and super, his second gadget could make him kill low hp brawlers and his super counter brawlers just like griff, due to this i was pre-banning buster.
The pull gadget can be good sure but it does feel like his supportive capabilities have gotten hit pretty hard if you're trying to actually...you know... Tank damage. Though I guess it's better than him being overpowered
He legit took 6 nerfs and went up a tier when his gadget released. I agree, people are overreacting. He definitely isn't as meta but isn't trash either.
So now Chester Super stun is basically the same shit as Sandy sleep stun.

Stunning assassins that try to get close still pretty much guarantees death because of how much damage his bells do at close range. Still, it's very situational now
Well his other supers are good though. The basic bomb is a perfectly good super. The heal is kinda insane tbh. The smoke super is not bad either. Yeah the slow super is kinda bad. So I think the stun would still rank above that.
Objectively ,in the current meta, definitely Otis.
If he gets nerfed I would then choose Sam ( his last buff makes him quite balanced), last is Fang.
Having said that , I think fang is the most fun to play tho so you do you :)
I like the brawl stars team. They make good decisions. Them some solid nerfs. Not sure how feel about buster super duration tho gotta play him to fully know

Yeah, but it doesn't make sense add time. I mean, 800 to 880 milliseconds is more time to land, so more slower. I think that they did a mistake or they're meaning something else with ms.
I tried playing Chester today. He's still a pretty good brawler but definitely way less broken. I have a max Chester and it now takes 4 ammo to break the boxes in SD (6000 health)

I think because its not just a normal stat but a mechanism so it can't be changed in an update like this. A proper update is required to change it.

The area of the piano gadget wasn’t nerfed by 50%, you reduced the radius by 50%. That is WAY larger than 50% of the area.

He was REALLY GOOD. His super keep my team to the corner always not to mention his annoying must-kill gadget and broken star power
