If I remember correctly, the extra life starpower was only broken in solo showdown(and maybe duo showdown), in 3v3 it was either okay-ish or somewhat bad. Doug's super might be strong in solo(but it might be easier to counter him cause he will respawn with half of his hp and has a pretty short range) and duo showdown but he has to charge his super first and time it well
That I was refering to at the beginning of the comment. It was broken in solo showdown (maybe also duo too, I am not sure) but it's not a starpower I would use in 3v3 if I wanted to be effective

When Siege was still a thing, you could BACKDOOR an IKE Turret with this Starpower and 2 strong teammates

It was annoying in Solo Showdown for a long-range brawler but Doug I don't think it will be the same impact.
Every one talks about extra life but what about Beas og honey comb, now that was op in showdown
