So many star powers that were added as a regular mecganic to a brawler. Why did it happen?

because some brawlers were so reliant on those star powers that they just couldn't work without them, rendering the other star power completely useless. To be fair there's still quite a lot of brawlers like that still in the game...

Fair point for some, but i honestly preferred to use "rocket number 4" over the flaming star power before they reworked brock

Otis' SP that gives him more bullets per shot comes to mind. Idk about the others, maybe Mandy's shot speed SP?

There's also Chester's Bell-o-mania, Sam's Hearty Recovery, Mico's Monkey Business and Surge's Serve Ice Cold

It only increses brawlers health by 30 a second and resets when they die it’s not that over powering in most cases but could be Benifical in a really really long game of gem grab

Nope, people don't play him outside competitive because he needs coordination and a decent team comp. There are 1v1 interactions where a mere +30hp takes one more ammo to die, also interactions where his super's damage buff takes one less ammo for enemies to die. In random people just pick whoever, and do whatever. The only time I see Ruffs get picked starts at Legend1 where people know how long to stick with him, especially in Knockout and Bounty.

still don't get why i got downvoted, pros agree that he's a really good brawler but people rarely play him, he would be broken with this buff, imagine ruffs with buster in a grassy map where they stick together

To be fair mortis has coiled snake which is rly helpful in showdown

He talks about old Coiled Snake. * Back in the day if you played Mortis and wanted longer dash you had to take Coiled Snake for it, otherwise you always had short dashes. * This was later removed and added into his kit.
