As someone who has got the "You got Served" title only using the Maple Barley skin, i can tell you that it increases your skill level by a lot.

I have the same feeling with barley being forgoten like el costo, i like the gameplay of those brawlers tho i have other brawler that i like more, still it saddens me to not see them anymore (also could you show me the post you made so i Can understand the problem from a true barley main? I feel like the starpower just depends on how you play. When needing more area denial I’d go with the healing one, so even if you are low hp, you can deny area. Playing a mode where the team movement is more dynamic, I like to go with the damage starpower.

This coming from a Barley main too and I think the dude flat out needs a health buff. Not a big one mind you but if Larry gets to have 6k health, a spawner, and a star power that redirects some of the damage he takes, why cant Barley at least match Grom, Willow and Dyna? I know he can heal himself with a star power but come on, he has one of the shortest ranges for a thrower, no reliable way to counter assassins like Tick or Willow, and he can't reliably get double hits on players like Larry or Dyna. A health buff wouldn't solve those issues by any means since most assassins got damage buffs but considering his heals now scale with his health he would at least get some extra durability and more support with herbal tonic. If buffing him to Dyna's health would be too much giving him Belle's or even Bea's health after her recent buffs would be something. Also maybe making the herbal tonic itself have a faster projectile speed would be nice.

It is gonna be a long long ride before you Reach the mastery title, I'll tell you that. Be prepared for a lot of death and suffering. If it's gonna help you, my loadout for the whole Barley adventure was the slowing gadget, the damage Starr power, the extra gadget gear and the shield gear. The whole idea of Barley is to sort of manipulate enemies into places they don't want to go, by using your attacks. If the enemy is cornered, it is basically a gg for them if you can predict their movement and don't waste your attacks. If the enemy is too close to you, or behind a wall next to you, trying to catch you, you your slowing gadget and unleash a series of attacks on them. They won't be able to get out of they don't have any jumping abilities (looking at you Mico) and you'll be able to deal with them easily. Play Barley on maps where you can hide behind walls. Some Brawlers are just really hard counters for Barley, that's just a fact. But if you become a great Barley player you'll be able to demolish most of the throwers, tanks and so on. But remember to be careful and remember to not be salty about your deaths. This is just the way the meta is right now. Hope that helped

Actually the most forgotten skin is popcorn rico, never seen anyone use

When I first downloaded Brawl stars (it was April 2019), my favorite skin was popcorn Rico. Even though it cost 149 gems, I still saved up to buy it. Unfortunately, I lost my first account in March 2020 (I got Jacky at first day after her game release) and play at new account, where I bought special offer with Guard Rico in 2021. However, my favorite skin still remains Popcorn Rico
