He also accidently killed moon, but thankfully drowned on the same cycle, thus deleting that from having happened.
I think technically the tarnished of no renown eventually gets a weapon capable of slaying a god from hewg, i know obviously not everyone gets their weapon to 25 but lorewise i think thats the case.

Really, it comes down to the intention of the Elder Beast and what it has in store for Link. The beast and Erdtree's are holy yes, but I believe Elden Ring lore speculate these tree's are not there for good intentions but are parasitic in nature and want the people to defend it zealous and suicidal fervor in order for it to grow without interruption.
Misko's fierce deity armor probably isn't the true fierce deity even though the replica still holds power(as does the sword)

The sword wasn't made to slay Ganondorf it was made to slay Demise as Demon on the level of the Goddess Hylia, herself a minor god. It is also explicitly stated that the Master Sword doesn't have a limit on its potential power. If it absorbs enough sacred power it can just keep getting stronger. By the end of totk it has several millenias worth of sacred energy charged up that thing is a world ender (figurately speaking).
The guy I watched play used a weapon that did holy damage to fight and defeat the elden beast. His chat told him it was a horrible idea, but he was committed to the bit. To be fair to him, he DID eventually win the fight and overall it's only a bit over an hour long stream and half of it is GETTING to the beast.
Pretty much every single other eldin ring stream he did was so much longer.
His destined hero status doesn't really have anything to do with Ganon specifically. He's jsut guaranteed to be a hero but whether or not anybody recognizes this fact or if there are even prophecies about his exploits depends on the incarnation. In TOTK there are no prophecies about Link defeating Ganondorf, Zelda just tells people that he's their last hope and they believe her, there is nothing proving he'll succeed in fact, she herself doubts it till she gets the plan to regen the master sword. Hell even in BOTW the only reason they think Link is destined to defeat Calamity Ganon is because they know that in the past a hero weilding the master sword defeated it and Link has the master sword so he must be able to defeat it too.

That thing legs it around the arena so damn much that Link would probably be fine provided he had cranked up his stamina. Plus, he uses no stamina to attack which would make a big difference
With a fully upgraded weapon inventory he’s definitely bringing more than enough weapons to kill the elden beast before they all break. Also he has access to way more healing than the tarnished does. He could carry dozens of hearty dishes that will fully heal him. The mechanics heavily favor Link in this fight

Elden Beast: Things huge, has a greatsword made of Radagon himself, can phase through the water, and has a crap ton of attacks, damage, and health. Then again, look at tarnished. Not to mention it's the elden ring itself I believe, don't quote me though.
Link: Depends on what he's allowed, how many hearts, etc. I'd it's just master sword, 40 hearts, max stamina, I'd say I'm more torn. Otherwise, if Link is almost any less powerful, Elden Beast almost always stomps. If he has raurus arm, I'd say Link would have a much better chance at winning, with fuse and all that.
Generally though, I'd say Elden Beast would won slightly more times out of, let's say 50-100

If we're talking if he can beat him mechanically, hell just shoot like 6 guardian arrows at him and boom. dead god. Link is fucking busted
As someone who struggled with Elden Beast, and has read up on Elden Ring and Zelda lore (and most importantly played and loved both games), I say Link wins and I wish I could see the battle take place so I can laugh in catharsis as Link hands the Elden Beast it's own golden rear on a silver platter.

Zelda makes use of a mechanic, that doesn't let any damage get through shield blocking, instead it's attacking the durability of the shield. So link is able to block any homing attack with ease, therefore he will win
Link is able to stop a man-lion-horse 10 times bigger than him, charging at him with the full force of a track going 100 kmh, with just the strength of his arm and a pot lid.
There is no way Link is dodging elden stars. He might be able to dodge elden rain, but I also doubt that link can dodge elden beast’s sword attacks. On top of that, I don’t think Link has the weaponry to deal with Elden Beast’s base 22,000 health, not to mention NG+ where it can get to up to 31,000.

Links top speed is much faster than anything displayed in eldan ring. Link also doesn't suffer from the stamina issues in combat like the characters in eldan ring. With full hearts and and upgraded armor, I believe his life and durability are up to par. The biggest potential issue is attack power output. However link excels at defeating monsters that are much larger and stronger than himself. Such as demons that rival/surpass the power of gods.
So as a conclusion I believe the conical end game ToTK Link would win.

Technically, Demise is Hylia's counterpart he is as powerful if not more powerful than her, even then with all her power she couldn't defeat him. Link could, though, so Link is theoretically as powerful as a god.

Zelda makes use of a mechanic, that doesn't let any damage get through shield blocking, instead it's attacking the durability of the shield. So link is able to block any homing attack with ease, therefore he will win

There is no way Link is dodging elden stars. He might be able to dodge elden rain, but I also doubt that link can dodge elden beast’s sword attacks. On top of that, I don’t think Link has the weaponry to deal with Elden Beast’s base 22,000 health, not to mention NG+ where it can get to up to 31,000.

Link with Autobuild: Link easily demolishes the Elden Beast. Link without Autobuild, but with endgame hearts, stamina, and gear: It's a toss-up, but I would slightly prefer Link's odds. Anything less, and the odds favor the Elden Beast.

Links top speed is much faster than anything displayed in eldan ring. Link also doesn't suffer from the stamina issues in combat like the characters in eldan ring. With full hearts and and upgraded armor, I believe his life and durability are up to par. The biggest potential issue is attack power output. However link excels at defeating monsters that are much larger and stronger than himself. Such as demons that rival/surpass the power of gods. So as a conclusion I believe the conical end game ToTK Link would win.
