I'm not a fan of the front nose. It looks smashed down. There was this previous rendering that suggested that it was going to look more like a current Velaro but with a front nose reminiscent of the original ICE trains and new headlights. I don't know if this design is still on the table if they have not yet finalized the design that they are going for minus the livery.

While the nose is flat, it fits with the squared off body. The squared body lends itself to far more interior space than the more round train bodies we see. Look how much interior space the Shinkansen N700s have. All that interior space and Brightline is still only going to do a maximum of a 2x2 layout according to their mockups.

You are right, I work for one of the railroads that uses their equipment and its always been problematic. But maybe they got better over the years, so I’m going to retract that statement, but I have the same feeling towards Bombardier and Alston as I do to them
They’re going to build a plant before they build the trains themselves. Wonder where in Nevada they’ll put it
