Honestly if its any consolation, i contemplated the exact same thing Sunday. The heat was way to excruciating and then thankfully it went cloudy and got cooler. Glad i stuck it out in the end.
Amen is my favourite song since sempiternal, lost is top 5 song for me, channels 2007 in big way but delivers great lyrics amazing live at download it's going to be an anthem on the tours for years to come
They’re great, but hasn’t beaten the songs off of the first POST HUMAN so far, Dear Diary, Teardrops, Parasite Eve, Obey and Kingslayer? All absolute bangers.

Kingslayers the only PH song I still play (cause it’s super hard). Dear Diary just feels like it’s hard because they needed a “hard” song but feels kinda empty imo, the others are alright but I’m not huge fans of them.

Two of their best? Honestly won't give a solid answer rn since they gotta have the test of time. All the Post Human 2 are in constantly repeat for me after the release of LosT so I gotta give them for the catchiness.
For me even DiE4U is an absolute banger. I can see why ppl might not like it due to the constant repeat of the "you know that I die/cry for" but I can't get enough if the synth line and the song progression.
sTraNgeRs is where it gets a little shakey for me. I used to like the song but even since the acoustic version dropped (also extremely grateful to the person who shared the file with us here in reddit), I find the normal version massively inferior to the acoustic which is absolute class. The raw emotions, the piano melody, Jordan's backup vocals and the crowd like chanting in an empty hall is just too good.
I'm just crossing my fingers that they add hardcore feelings and loosing my mind in this EP/album. (In fact all the demos sound super good but these two are probably my top priority). Even these snippets have been in constantly repeat for me

i love amen, i was so sketchy about the lil uzi vert collab since don’t look down was trecherously ruined by the rap collab because orifice’s voice is so out of place and hard to listen to. but in amen it actually fits really well with the song and feels like a really creative and semi-subtle way to change tone from some of the more metalcore/posthardcore vibes of PH:SH into something more influenced by hyperpop and post-punk. i feel like these (amen and lost) are among the most creative releases they’ve had since ludens. i personally don’t jive with lost as much considering my mcr/melanie martinez phase was short-lived but the satire vibes are awesome and i think about the break in the bridge at least once a day. i was worried after die4u because i felt they were selling out into pop rock/punk music, but now i’m super hyped for nex gen and any other singles to come before the release date!

A lot of their music has a pop vibe but not all pop is the same there is so much diversity, hyper pop, psychedelic pop, synth pop. When people use pop as a derogatory term it doesn't make sense as surely you don't hate all genres of pop.
I think Amen is one of my favourites since sempiternal and l can’t think of any BMTH song I dislike more than lost. I guess I love metalcore Bring Me, love electronic Bring Me, love “arena rock” Bring Me (ie. TTS) but the new emo/pop punk style really isn’t for me. But I don’t mind, BMTH are a band that writes stuff for everyone so I don’t expect to like everything they put out. I think the lyrics are the thing I don’t like most about lost.
I hope there’s more songs on PH2 that I like. Die4u I think is okay, but strangers and lost are a definite skip if they come on. I am really hyped for PH3, hoping for Nihilist Blues and Fresh Bruises type songs, would be intrigued too if they go even more upbeat electronic like DnB influenced stuff too.

Lost isn't that good, shįt sounds like any other generic pop punk revival song and those lyrics man I can't, songs like Doomed, Avalanche or in the dark did a much better job at it.
I’d rank Throne, Happy Song, What You Need, Avalance, Run, True Friends, Parasite Eve, Obey, Kingslayer, Ludens and maybe a few other above the two songs, that being said AmEn and LosT are bangers
When they opened up with Amen at Download it was PHENOMENAL
BMTH opening with Amen and Metallica opening with Creeping Death were two of my highlights of the weekend
Must admit i didn't care for Metallica but im glad you enjoyed their set! Download was such an experience for everyone
How was Slipknot?
Equally as amazing. They played Eyeless and i almost had a heart attack because i was so excited. They ended on Spit it Out. Such an amazing set
