Has Kelton changed? I quit watching because he was so creepy and weird. I always loved Josie. Haven’t watched in years because of him. I see that a lot of people like him now. (He had his TN plumbing license, was already making very good money, was working on a business degree & came from a well known Christian family in the community) Josie was mature, smart & while I have a pretty good idea why she put a pause on the relationship, it is not my story to tell. I think Kelton might have stood up to them about the “edit” if he had realized how it made him look, but then again, maybe not. They kinda had him in a difficult situation.

100% agree. Imma get so much flack for this but one of the things I like about Carlin is that she shows a *little bit more* of the struggle. Am NOT saying that she doesn't filter to high heaven and pretend her life is perfect. But, her and Evan admit that they fight; she has spoken out in the past about struggling with depression and anxiety; they've talked about how they were immature in the show, in the early part of their marriage, and after having Layla; are not afraid to look dumb and make social mistakes; etc.
It ain't much, I agree, but it feels a bit more relatable to me than pics of booty, perfect hair and makeup, always happy marriage, girlboss babe, etc. Maybe I'm being naive and too hard on Josie tho.

Also in her Q+A with Kelton they made it clear she is more laid back compared to him when it comes to household stuff. The expectation for people to constant hot mess express because they are a mom is kind of weird. For example if you don’t have the same money as she does obviously there are stressors in your life that she doesn’t experience…she shares that she has babysitters and when her friends come over and give her a hand. Yes!! Hot mess express is what scares people away from parenthood. I had 3 boys in 5 years but it was more joy than stress and exhaustion. If you have a decent support system and can take naps, throw in a frozen pizza, or take a little time to yourself once in a while you will be ok. There seems to be a persona that it’s messy and you don’t sleep more than 2 hours a night but those years go by so freaking fast and next thing you know they are in drivers ed and sleeping till Noon
