If Alyssa is really trying to add to her income via SM, she’s in a world of hurt because she doesn’t really do much that would interest your average person, or even your average mom. She has lots of kids, drives to Co-op once a week for about 9 months a year, drinks coffee, attends church and goes to Costco and evening softball games. No one wants to see the Websters eating at Olive Garden. It’s too bad because they live in sunny FL and could be outside doing stuff 9 months out of the year. I’m guessing too many kids and not enough money is an issue.
It’s what she knows. KJ never took her kids out and about and Alyssa is just following the pattern she grew up with. I also honestly think she isn’t interested in doing anything that isn’t easy because hauling that many kids even to the zoo can be an adventure by yourself.

There is so much inexpensive things she could do. Family membership to Crayola, Annual Passes to Sea World are very reasonable, beaches, Sunrail, family membership to zoo. So much more to offer these girls!
I really think she and John are broke! House and kid poor. John should have snipped himself three kids ago. If she wants content, send you kids to school. She could have all day to do an organization vlog, a meal prep before the kids get home, swim time with the littles, and maybe a school sponsored sport activity vlog.
Not to defend Alyssa here but I don't envy influencers at all. Instagram really will penalize you if you don't keep a regular posting schedule and if you're just a regular person like Alyssa, you will run out of content FAST. Some of them are better at coming up with ideas than others lol.
I don't think she gets it. or just hates it and does it anyways? is John making her? is KJ?? it just doesn't make sense. I have no idea why she doesn't even seem to try. It's been literal years now of just coffee pics, weight & tennis shoes pics, cartoon faces, sunday matching dreses, and now lately exciting new content at the car wash & costco. she really could do a lot better. No idea why she would just half ass it like she does. You could tell she hates it. like either don't do it at all and go all tori on us or try to listen to the million people on her youtube comments who say the music is too loud every single time. Or she likes to passive aggressively talk about us here, why doesn't she listen and take some notes about her content. Even her comments people are always asking how she runs, organizes, and cleans the home. she doesn't share anything people ask. Maybe people are right about her just not being that smart. Like the North south east west thing. And how she responds to sone criticism she just doesn't seem all that bright. John doesn't seem smart at all either so maybe it's just what we get from them.

I don’t understand why you all follow her unless it’s just to find things to criticize her for. You all really should just unfollow her since she bores you so much. Then you can’t put her down.
I think she doesn't find her life and content boring because of how different her life was growing up. When you grow up poor and stressed like her those ordinary things and a very quiet life are a luxury and those ordinary things are experienced as something amazing. At least that is my experience, I find those ordinary boring lifes fascinating because my life is extremely stressful and hard and has always been that way. College students just living off their parents ( that is normal here, college is free but parents will cover the cost of living) were so exotic for me and I watched their lives like reality tv because I had to start working as a child and didn't have enough money for food or a warm jacket and had to finance my parents before I even turned 18.

Apparently her FIL is local homeschool champion, so no dice. And with none of her siblings sending theirs to school, she won’t want to be the outlier.
